4 o 6 million for a back up player (at best) who's out of contract in the summer. Don't see Levy getting excited at that tbh.

Who does everyone think is value for money?

Moussa or Saido?

Or would you take both?

Personally I would take just the one, that being Saido as he's the better player with more experience.

It's 4-6 now or 4-6 in the summer isn't it? Fulham will be due a development fee.

The question really is around value. Is this guy only one quarter the player Berahino is? Because that's the value equation when you stack the two together

IMO he is equally as talented as Berahino, just doesn't have the experience at this point in time. Dembele all day long for me

We should trust our scouting and coaching team to make the right choice(s). Berahino will need 3-4 weeks/games to get match fit, but is clearly more experienced and has played alongside Harry for the u21's. Dembele looks exciting and is doing well in a very average side, but Prem is a big step up.
Both modest gambles, but NO striker is an even bigger gamble!
Let's sign at least one , and the sooner the better.

Hugely concerned with Berahino's attitude and fall from grace at WBA. I absolutely agree Spurs need cover - and cover with the capacity to challenge Kane over both the next 4 months and beyond- but Berahino for me hasn't pushed on... Dembele is one for next season if we go ahead and sign him (which unless we have better academy talents) I believe we should. Alternatives for Berehino? Not many to be fair... Austin for 4m wouldn't have been bad.. Maybe test Lyon for Lacazette - at least played in a 4-2-3-1 formation successfully...

Saido is doubtless the better player, he's played at the top level and England under 21s, ahead of Kane once upon a time. However, he's more expensive, might not be happy with the bench and just might be a trouble maker. Whatever you decide Poch, I'll back you!

Would the tribunal rate him at 4 to 6 million? I don't know but he's way behind Danny Ings who I'd have thought was in that bracket. I don't have any problem with us signing him by the way - just a bit surprised at their (alleged) valuation.

Well this is getting interesting.

We need someone. Whoever Poch thinks is right.

There are rightful concerns over Berahino. But then there are players in our team who people have been concerned with in the past, hasn't stopped them becoming integral.

Basically we need a striker who needs to immediately understand that he will be 2nd to Harry Kane! Berahino will not put up with this, which in my opinion he is entitled to as he is a proven goalscorer in the premier league, Dembele would be cheaper and more understanding of being 2nd to Kane!! Also I have faith in Poch in developing him into a fine young player like he has with the likes of Dier, Mason, Alli.
Lacazette is too much of a risk for me, potential Soldado the 2nd !!!

Berahino has had one good season and isn't even West Broms 1st choice striker. A back-up striker to Kane is still a step up for him. Plus I can see Poch incorporating them both into the starting 11 at times

i'm not sure this is the right way to look at this.

Maybe we should look at who is more likely to make an impact if Kane takes a knock, rather than who is happy to sit on the bench.

In that case Berahino may have the edge.

We are in a title race here and now.

HASN'T PUSHED ON !!!! He's barely played this season, not sure how anyone can "push on" when they're stuck on the nbench

Given SB has sat on the bench most of this season, I don't think he can expect to come here and be in the team immediately. However, he can expect to come here and push Harry and does give us the option to play a different sort of forward. Which is all good.

However, SB is no better and does not offer anything over and above Son. So what's the point?...especially as he has an attitude problem that clearly needs ironing out and I suspect is something that could cause friction with Poch and his team in the medium term.

Given that, I'd go for Moussa and forget about SB. He does offer something different to Son and will be happy to play second fiddle for the moment and will be very happy to toe the line in regards Poch's philosphy.

I thought Ings was valued at 11m and that why it's going to tribunal/appeal? I may have dreamed that but I thought that was the figure

That backs up my 4-6 claim..... but memory is shot, so fling as much salt about the place as you wish

You're probably right. Can't get much for 5m these days.
