Galatasaray have gone in with an offer for Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Davinson Sanchez as they look to take him to Istanbul.

Galatasaray are admirers of Sanchez and want to take him to Turkey during this summer’s transfer window.

They have now slapped in a proposal of €9m for the defender, according to Turkish daily Sabah.

I seen something the other day saying we wanted him and a midfielder from there also. Wonder if this helps us get one or both of them if accepted.

His value will be low though as he’s only got a year left so it’s hard weighing up keeping Sanchez versus replacement pound for pound

True, but a better CB than Sanchez is likely to cost at least 3x as much (unless we sign someone in the last year of their contract or getting fairly lucky by signing someone unproven who lives up to our hopes), so £9m is not a fair price.
