Gary Neville on "diving" and the modern game - great article and a bit on Bale

I just never liked the look of him before but he's been a massive breath of fresh air on the gogglebox. His opinion that we are at our best with Lennon and Bale in the side has irritated the shit out of me but apart from that, I love him. I find him intelligent and articulate without being pretentious.

Yes correct opinions are so annoying!

I will say that I've really enjoyed Neville's punditry.

As others have said I hated Gary Neville as a player, but think he is turning into a very good pundit.

He is already a hell of a lot better then Jamie (state the bleeding obvious) Redknapp.

Diving is cheating but if everyone else is doing it and in most times getting away with it, Ashley Young against QPR is the most recent example that springs to mind, then I hope Bale continues to do it. If it benefits Tottenham Hotspur FC all well and good.

After all there are no trophies given out at the end of the season for being honest.

There's the fair play league, which can get you into the Europa League. Which is about as close as we're going to get to Europe next season.
