All his attributes are the main things you want in a player. He presses, Skilful. Technically very good, good shot. Aside from that doesn’t offer much else. Do you get it?
He seems to be good at pretty much everything you need to be a success in England.

He doesn't look anything like Dele from any of his videos... where's that comparison come from?!
His languid style of play mostly, also the skinny frame, nice acceleration but not overly fast, tricky and can be creative, looks very easy to push off the ball.

Apologies, you word things in ways I sometimes don't quite follow. I agree though, I think, I like the ingredients I've seen as per my above posts. The 'analyst' also doesn't mention that Gedson's passing and tackling look promising too.

There's a lot of videos showing him shrugging off multiple players. At just 21 that seems positive.

If Jose and his back room team want him then that’s good enough for me.

Yeah but who were the opposing teams . Were they some shite team in the middle west of Madeira playing in a league that is the equivalent to the southern west premier of jersey over here ?

He's just 21. I'm not saying he's a superstar already.

Intriguing signing... but as lots of others have pointed out not what we need at the mo... A DM surely has to be priority this window

Yeah, other than being a Sissoko replacement I don’t really get it.

If it's an 18 month loan with option to make permanent, Sissoko will be 32 by then so maybe it's a sensible one with Sissoko out for the rest of the season and Ndombele being very unreliable injury wise as he comes to terms with the physicality of the PL.

We definitely need depth for the rest of this campaign due to Sissoko and once he's back age isn't exactly on his side long term. I can see why we are making a move for both short and long term reasons I mean we had to play Winks and Eriksen today, one of which is off any time now so it for sure needs beefing up.

Well Mourinho did spend a lot of time in Portugal before he moved back into management. So I'd imagine he spent alot of time looking at the Portuguese league for value.
Given his contacts I doubt this boy is a complete shot in the dark

Yeah I mean great with me to get a Sissoko replacement but I’d be shocked if we now sign a DM which is what we ultimately need.

Doesn't sound like we're getting one.

Looks like we're going to have to hope Mourinho can fix our midfield fragility with the personnel he has. I'd love him to give Skipp a shot. Either way at least Dier and Sissoko seem to be off the menu now, the former lacking mobility and the latter often exposing his partner by shifting too far across to cover Aurier.

Maybe with sufficient training ground time Mourinho can somehow form a functional midfield out of our #8s. Winks, Ndombele, Lo Celso and now Gedson. At least all are mobile and confident on the ball.

You'd think the rumoured price for Berge would be a no brainer, or even Soumare with the Lille links, but alas not.
