So city getting Laporte and mahrez, Chelsea getting palmieri and Giroud, Arsenal getting Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan, Liverpool getting vvd, United getting Sanchez.... fucking impossible doing business in January.

This is why we should be aiming to win the FA Cup, League Cup, etc. They aren't glamorous trophies but with City, Utd, Barca, Bayern, etc. easily spending £100m+ we haven't got a hope in hell of winning the league or CL.

We do generally aim to win the FA Cup and like any other team if we get to the latter stages of the Carabao Cup we tend to field stronger teams, but even those trophies are getting harder to win. We need a luck draw to progress in both competitions like Arsenal have had in the past.

Yep. Hopefully Mahrez gets paid fuckloads to go there though. That’s the only good to come out of it. They are pouring money into other clubs, players and agents pockets.
