Agreed. People are laughing at it and saying it's horribly overvaluing him since he hasnt played. While it is a huge overlay at the moment, look at the market. Lewis Grabban just went for £8m, FFS! The money being thrown around now is nuts! £14m for Townsend doesnt seem bad when you see that stuff.
They have Iheanacho(sp?) who really should get more time than he is. Like the look of that kid. He can be one hell of a player, IMO.

the way the sell-on works is that you get X% of the difference between what you paid and what you're selling for (the profit). so it's 30% of £7m.

It depends how the clause is written on the transfer papers. Some sell on percentages are off the profit and some are off the fee.

If it's true then you have to imagine they've been given some encouragement by either the player, Swansea or both, I don't think any bids are made these days without some indication that the other party is interested in dealing.
