Not sure we could be much quicker given how quickly he has has risen and still in a lesser league. Even VdV hadn't played for long at a high level and we took a chance. This is definitely the window to get Orban though.

Think wages are basically never an issue when young players come in from abroad. Its the fee and payment terms between the clubs I guess.
Sounds like they feel 30m is too much for someone of his experience. Gent can hold out till the end of the window at that price and may decide to lower it if no one else comes in for him. but that's the risk for Spurs someone else paying the 30m, so far though no takers at that level.
