Shay, TG has been at the club a really long time, almost 9 years now. Although he's never realistically looked like challenging for a starting spot he's been there on the bench or playing in the ressies for time.

He is very experienced at being an employee of a premier league club.

Dawson has been playing a similar amount of time for Forest, but that's entirely in the 1st Div and Champ's - hardly comparable in terms of experience, i hope you'll admit. I'm no statto, but the numbers on appearances look pretty similar between them as well, only TG in the top flight.

Nev3er looked like challenging for starting spot in the first team ? he's looked like playing regular first team football every time he's had an injury free period until Jol decided that dopey was better. Even then Gardner was keeping Dawson out of the side on merit at the start of last season until he was injured away at Villa.

Gilberto, quality player glad he's signing for Spurs. Guys got class, better going forward on left midfield then a left back.

Guys pacey

Can anyone remember thelast meaningful brazilian that played for us ?

No, because we've never had one, unless you count Defendi, who wasn't meaningful and never actually played for us (or did he turn out for the stiffs a couple of times before his hooky passport was rumbled?).

If he is still a current international a work permit should be no probs.
Does anyone know if he has played 75% of Brazils games recently?

I think this is the one signing that could potentially finally bring some real balance to the side.

Experience, quality and a left foot.

Can we call up Mr Brown to get this work permit sped up or what? Who's the immigration secretary right now?
