We will all get 5-6 more hours of dopamine today than you will though.Guys. We do this every window. There's always a last minute big name signing that we get teased with. It ain't happening
CCV didnt either whatsoever. Ange turned him into the most crucial part of that defense & someone who I wouldnt be shocked if he's 1st choice in the US national team soon enough when fit.

Yeah, although which building “the building” is hasn’t yet been established…If it turns out he’s actually in the building, that’s a massive step forward, when you compare it to other deadline day deals like Dybala etc.
Personal terms can’t be an issue and fee must be nearly there..
I'll put it this way, if he was around 10 years ago before ball-playing ability was considered so crucial for defenders, then he would be viewed as one of the best in the world. Is he actually any good though?
I know i said i wouldn't be sucked in but fucksake i'm slowly am againGuys. We do this every window. There's always a last minute big name signing that we get teased with. It ain't happening
I mean one of two more pieces of itk about it and I will too tbfI know i said i wouldn't be sucked in but fucksake i'm slowly am again
I think the ITK's are just teasing us now for laughsI mean one of two more pieces of itk about it and I will too tbf
Agree, he is much more comfortable in a back 3. As a defender he is significantly better then Sanchez and Dier especially in regards to interceptions and reading the game from a defensive point of view tho. That ability to clear up attacking threats is what made him CB of the year in 2022 for Torino but that was playing in back 3 not a back 2. But looking at how much VDV has improved us defensively AND going forward i still I just don't think he's tactically a great fit for us.I'm a bit worried about how he would do in a back 4.
He's been at his best in a back 5.
He's miles better than Sanchez/Dier though!
Regardless if he's a good fit or not, could we even buy him without at least two of PEH, Ndombele, Sanchez and Dier going? I haven't been keeping up to date with our non HG limit today aside from knowing we are still over the limit I think? I guess we could not register Dier and Ndombele but still I struggle to see us bringing in Bremer if Sanchez is still here.
Has anyone got one of those squiddly diddly chart things that look like spider webs eating each other in different colours that shows his attributes?

Party pooper.if there was any actual chance this is remotely a possibility someone in media would have picked it up by now .
Stats can kind of be misread though right? Say for example if Dier didn't attempt many tackles, he wouldn't have committed errors leading to a shot or gave away penalties (this is rhetorical btw), whereas if Bremer (who I never watched) played with a more aggressive defensive role, these other things come along for the ride. I think you want more a ratio of these downsides of aggressive defending to the number of tackles, blocks, etc.View attachment 131505
One of these things? I have no idea if I selected the right stats for you though I just clicked defendery sounding ones
That said if you ignore all the other stats, he played less mins than Dier last season and from that had more errors leading to goals, more yellow cards and gave away more penalties. And we complain about Dier being a liability /s
