I'm one of the mods over there, and while we have our wild moments, I don't think bitching like that is really necessary amongst fellow fans............unless of course you are someone we banned in the past, perhaps?

Anyhoo..........our server dropped a disc, and the board admin is trying to decide between trying to solve the issue, or finding the money to replace the 7 year old server.

I would guess it works in reverse, based on the comments WE can view on rival fans forums, no?

As stated, GG is the opposite end of the spectrum, compared to say COYS, and I guess SC sits somewhere in the middle.
But we have an active enough membership to show that we have our place in the cyber world, along with all the others.

I'm sure some pretty daft and childish comments appear on here regularly enough?

I might have been rash in my earlier comments, i'm not interested in any kind of cyber war with fellow Spurs fans. I have seen some shocking quotes from GG in the past but I'm not a member there so I don't know what it's like on a regular basis. I can't form a balanced opinion without seeing both sides so I'll give GG the benefit of the doubt. Let's get back to enjoying our 45 points!

I started out at Glory Glory doing all the stream threads until my Dad showed me SC and it's vastly superior "attendance". Nothing worse than making a post on a thread and seeing nothing has changed in 12 hours.

I was a member on here between about 07-08 and been using GG for about 2 years now although always read threads on here. Crawley runs a good ship over on GG it's not his fault there are several idiots on the site.

SC is much better than COYS IMO.

but out of interest , who quotes us and what are they quoting? outrageous stuff that you get once in a while? everything?

Not really slagging it off, I just hate it when people think all Spurs fans are like the ones they quote from your site.

I think if SC was open for people to selectively quote and laugh at there'd be plenty of pisstaking of us too. I haven't noticed GG being any worse than here in general.

Sorry but you do realise that other clubs fans quote Glory Glory and rip the absolute piss out of you? Rightly so in most cases that I've seen, I went there once and it just seemed like a bunch of 12 year olds fighting with each other. Maybe I went there on a bad day but it has a pretty bad reputation from what I've seen.

I have just read via The Goat on the ITK forum about a 'rumor' involving the filth matching a get-out clause for Ekotto, etc, etc...

If this ever gets quoted on any other fan forums, or indeed, in the press, trust me, it will be a far FAR bigger embarrassment than anything quoted from Glory Glory...again, stop worrying what others think and judge a place on how YOU find it!!! I have been a member of both forums for some time now, and whilst I haven't been here for a while, I don't see that there needs to be some pathetic slagging match mate.

I must leap to the defence of glory glory, as with any public forum there is good and bad, you just have to take in the style of posting per user to manage potential conflicts.
