I doubt Bale can continue this form, but you never know with this kid. I also think Hudd has become one of our most important player, even more so than Modric. Levy should offer him a new contract asap.

Nice work, surprised Bale hasn't got an assist in the league yet.

He's had a few secondary assists though.

I'd personally rather all the Spurs boys sit on the bench, have a cup of tea, and come back nice and relaxed as the last two games haven't done much for Spurs have they!

major concern though is the lack of goals from our forwards. in the last 11 league games (5 last season and 6 this season) crouch, defoe and pav have only scored 1 goal each. we do need one of them to step up. its great that crouch has gotten a few assists alright but we cant keep relying on the midfield (vdv and bale especially) to score for us.
hopefully pav can start knocking in a few in the league to go with his CL goals!

* Rafael Van der Vaart has had 17 shots in just four league games since joining Tottenham. Peter Crouch has had just nine in seven games.

* No Premier League player has created more chances (20) than Gareth Bale this season. But he is yet to be credited with an assist.

* Spurs have kept just two clean sheets in 12 games in all competition this season.

Thanks!

I don't get 4 assists for Crouch... the Premier League does.

Those stats are adapted from the official figures, as supplied by EA Sports / Actim.

Both goals against Villa on Saturday came from Crouch assists, as did two of our three goals against Wolves.

How on earth did crouch get credit for two of the three goals against Wolves??

One was a penalty the other was Huttons(kicked against him by a Wolves player) and wasn't Pavs from a deflected Huddlestone shot??
