Really like the look of Croatia - Modric, Kovacic and Rakitic behind Olic, Mandzukic and Perisic...

They're not that ropey at the back either - Pletikosa's a decent 'keeper and presumably the back 4 will be Srna, Lovren, Corluka and Pranjic - a lot of experience there.

They absolutely could repeat what they did in France.

@Partizan is excited about Switzerland too.

Deutschland to win it vs Spain in the final. Although I Reckon Uruguay could do ok and get to the last 8/4 depending on how Suarez does(if he's fit).

Brazil and Argentina to battle it out for 3rd.

I've set up a Sun dream team mini league which I'd like to get many involved. Easy to do, sun rules, keep making changes up until the WC starts. Get involved.

I love how they have written croatia off
Modric and Rakitic are in best the form of their lives
edit: googled Croatia national team and first thing on google is this

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-Brazil-they-could-match-1998-generation.html

Modric and Rakitic are in excellent form, yes, so the play-making & creative aspect of the game is definitely covered.
However, who's their designated enforcer in the center?? They don't really have one. They can create chances sure, but there is nobody to win break down the opposing play in the middle. They're okay up front. They're alright in the back, and the mids seem to be the core of their strength, but I think it's misleading. I can see them perhaps catching Mexico unaware, or even drawing w/ Cameroon....but when they're up against Brazil, they'll have a difficult time even if they park the bus.
Yes, I'll admit they're slightly underrated by most people, but ever so slightly IMHO. They are not a dark horse like Belgium or Colombia, AFAIAC.
Wouldn't you say?

PS. Moreover, even when they do create chances, aside from Mandzukic, there aren't many go-to guys to put 'em away. Especially when Eduardo has to fill in on day 1 vs Brazil.
