Not too clever of the club to have that banner right through the middle of the away supporters though was it?

I agree. We should expect adults to immediately think of destroying said signs. Perfectly normal behaviour.

The club dropped the ball here.

In fact, put the barriers up again. If the base assumption is that football fans are still unthinking animals, let's treat them that way.

The FA has to fine Arsenal for that as its vandalism and anyone identified should be banned by Arsenal. Though I won't hold my breath.

Can anyone confirm if the reports about Arsenal fans singing about Auschwitz are true or not

Did Arsenal's many Jewish fans join in too ? That would be ignorant as well as racist but then their fans are not renowned for their intellect. It would be like Chelsea fans doing it even though their owner and benefactor is from Israel. That would never happen either.....

I saw a couple of youtubes. One of Spurs fans before the game doing that weird thing (I associate with Newcastle fans for whatever reason, maybe for the horse-punching incidento_O) of standing on one side of a road chanting abuse at Arsenal fans. With several muppets standing in front with their chests out and hands in the air daring Gooners to cross the road while police and their horses stand on the road in front of them. And the other one of muppet Arsenal fans after the game tearing down a plastic sign and throwing pieces on what looked like their fellow supporters below.

Football fans make themselves look more stupid than any other group I can think of (sometimes). Is there another event you go to where this type of knuckle-dragging is so evident?

Worst bit from those dopey ****'s is that the signs were falling on their own fans. Dickheads

Ha ha, this to be honest.

Lad who works for me (an asenal fan) was on the lower tier and has a nice cut and scratch on his forehead where these hit him. Needless to say he wasn't particular happy with his own fans.
