Yes I know what he did as a player, but he knows fuck all in terms of transfers, who we have in our squads on match days etc.

The manner in which you speak of him IMO is not fitting of a spurs legend. We cant all be know-it-all's like many here.

I just think we can treat our legends with a bit more respect

Yes he is a legend (i loved the man, and got to meet him at a junior spurs xmas party in about 1983/4), and should be treated with respect.

BUT sometimes he makes a rod for his own back and should be careful when stating what he knows/heard.

Anyway he probably gets his info here anyway.

He is a legend as a player but i stopped listening to him talking about spurs the summer before last when he was on sky sports news and he had his potential spurs starting 11 put up on screen and said that arshavin was gonna be the signing to make spurs great again, but he had arshavin as the holding midfielder playing just in front of the centre backs.

Do you have any knowledge of his Managerial record? And even the reasons as to why thats probably the only work he can get these days, considering what he had to go through. He put a side together at Clyde with next to no money to spend that turned over a Celtic team under Gordan Strachan.

I am not old enough to know about Dave Mackay but i know he's a fucking Spurs Legend.

Put yourself the 1981/1982 Cup Finals on, and just so you can really understand, watch the 1984 UEFA CUP. There is no "might be" about, he "IS A SPURS LEGEND"
