Initial loan for a couple of months now extended to 31 December.

Loan watch: @GrantWard_ bagged his 1st goal for Chicago Fire in the MLS side’s 2-1 win over Pittsburgh Riverhounds - http://bit.ly/1vX7YZN

Has played in multiple positions for Spurs youth teams including as a wing back, winger and striker. Doubt he'll make it to the first team but delighted to see he's giving MLS a go.

Will also help Spurs marketing drive in US to have a few loanees playing in MLS !

Scored his first MLS goal off the bench against San Jose the other night. Match rating if 7.1 on who scored. Chicago got killed 5-1 though

Plays tonight vs. Seattle in the US Open Cup. Both Ward and Yedlin are starting, so a great chance to watch a couple of loaned players.

The live stream is available at Seattle Sounders official site (soundersfc.com) as well as via a YouTube search.

Unfortunately our guy Clint isnt in the squad for Seattle(neither is their other striker, Martins, interestingly enough)

They allow comments on the stream(should be a fun read if things dont go their way).

A+ comment from this dude already:
Bob Cobb

Seattle seem to be prioritizing the league this season, no Chad Marshall or Gonzalo Pineda either. Either way, watching this as Ward and Yedlin are both playing.

Yedlin played a very nice ball in for the 5th goal.

Frankly the game has been a total mismatch though. 5-0 with time left...Ward was nothing special. Tried to get involved but didn't really make anything happen.
