We have reached agreement with Grasshopper Club Zurich for the transfer of Maksim Paskotsi.

The 20-year-old Estonia international defender joined us in September, 2020, from home town club Flora Tallinn and after spending his first season with our Under-18s, he stepped up to Development Squad level in 2021.

I thought this kid was supposed to be decent, and we've let him go?
How many young prospects do we need around the club? If Ange believes Dorrington and Phillips are better at a younger age it's better for the lad and for ourselves if he moves on.

Was highly thought of but presumably we have better options now (and also HG). Best of luck to him in his career.

I hope we have sell-on clause when we let youngsters go without testing them sufficiently on loan first

He had some injuries (only played 14 PL 2 games in the last 2 seasons) and has now been passed by Phillips and Dorrington at a minimum. He already has 16 international caps though so hopefully we put in a sell on clause

Well, he is 20 years old and I hadn't heard his name in at least a year. I would imagine he probably wanted to leave.

TiL there's a club with the name Grasshopper.
We played them in the UEFA cup in the 70s. It might have been the year we won it...
need to check.

Yup....beat them 9-2 on aggregate....5-1 away 1st leg...4-1 at home...slackers!

Went on to win the whole thing.
