He was dropped because of his nightclub antics, i.e. the new manager coming in and stamping his mark and then he was unwell and injured. He's incredibly talented and only 20 years old. I'd take him at Spurs as he would definitely add positives to the squad

Why is that especially important? If you build a squad with players with similar abilities then you can build a philosophy around that and not have to change when the personnel change due to injury / fatigue etc.
He has the ability to run past defenders with the ball and is creative. Those types of players don't come around very often and would add to Spurs' squad. Add to the fact he's young, he has a lot of potential that may or may not be fulfilled.

This kid is all wrong for us.
We are clearly looking for characters, and his just doesn't fit. It's not that these types don't deserve a second chance, it's that they don't deserve a fifth or sixth. Too much of a risk to expect he might grow up quickly, even under Uncle Poch...
Better bets elsewhere.
