There's two very different stances on the Mayweather/Pacman debacle. We don't have a clue what the reality is, we have to accept our place as outsiders. I've heard many promoters and trainers say the boxing myth that fighters didge each other because their scared is ridiculous bs and I can't for a second believe that anyone would think Pacman is scared of fighting Mayweather.

This is a situation that people should stop sounding so sure about.

Actually what ive been goin on has been from what Pacmans nearest and dearest Roach and his promotor Bob Arum have been saying, aswell as pacman himself. First of all, Bob Arum stated their camp would allow 3 random tests on 3 dates which they specify before hand . . . I dont think theyd grasped the idea of *random* . . if they know the dates wouldnt it be easy to cycle off drugs?
Secondly, apparently manny didnt like needles according to Roach. Yet manny has several tatooes . . .
Now its a teaspoon of blood 2 weeks before will irreversibly weaken him for the fight .. .
Oh and dont forget his negotiating team asking whether it could be kept quiet for the integrity of the sport if he was caught doping. . . .

If manny goes ahead and takes the tests and has the fight im absolutely certain he's gonna be finished after 6-8 rounds and will get stopped by mayweather. Even in the last fight manny had in the 10th/11th round he looked like he was tired and had to slow down. As we saw the other week, a CLEAN mayweather looked like he could go for 15 rounds easy while Sugar Shane (a guy who admitted using EPO) had nothing to give after 3 rounds pretty much.

Also about the "myth" about fighters being scared and dodging etc, sorry but the fight tomorrow night is another classic case of "dodging". Khan was supposed to fight Marcos Maidana (who is similar to Prescott - got a huge right hand) for his first defense, but opted to take on Malignaggi who has a great boxing brain but the power of a slug, and can only fight with one hand . . nice choice of opponent Amir. . . Also Roach admitted he didnt want Khan to fight Maidana, not this early into his career as it could hurt it.

It certainly happens for low level fights but not the true top guys. If there's one thing the top boxers love it's the big fight and the big pay day. People said Tyson was afraid of Foreman but that match would have made ridiculous money for Tyson win or lose, there's no way he'd turn that down because he's afraid of getting knocked out.

Pacman has said he wants one more fight. It's been reported that the fight is worth $100m though how uch of that the boxers get I have no idea. I find it hard to believe that anyone would think Pacman is turning down the fight because he's scared of getting beaten. He has lost before.

I think with pac its not so much about getting beaten or knocked out, more about the super stardom hes got recently and the likelyhood it would be that he gets exposed as a bum against Floyd. . Especially if he takes that random drug testing . . Floyd really is on another level to the welterweights. Its not going to be the open fight everyone is expecting.
I think it would be $100m each, apparently floyd made $40m (plus another 20m off endorsements/sponserships - so $60m) off the Mosley fight while Shnae made $10m (his highest payday).

Greatest of All Time - Sugar Ray Robinson
Current 'Greatest' - Floyd Mayweather Jr
Future G.O.A.T - Andre Ward

Of the current crop of Brits I'm tipping Nathan Cleverly to become a very special fighter, exceeding the likes of Calzaghe and Lewis.

As for tonight's fights, I'm tipping Amir Khan to win in the 9th, Chisora to knock out Williams and I think Katsidis will beat Mitchell early.

I think Khan will stop Malignaggi early. He really isn't a good fighter and hasn't got a big punch either.

Havent seen the Mitchell fight yet. The guy needs to grow up though, he was strolling around lakeside with his mates on the day of the fight! All this east end stuff is ridiculous aswell, the guy is from bloody Dagenham.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Julio Cesar Chavez, he was truly awesome and achieved nearly 100 professional KO's!

As for the Brits, I'm not sure anybody will better Calzaghe's achievements and I think he deserved far more recognition than he ever achieved.

Best fight- Benn v McClellan. Tragic the way it ended, however it was an amazing spectical

Best fighter- In my lifetime I will have to say Tyson for his pure brute strength and killer instinct.

Worth a mention - Eubank, Leonard, Berbeck, Chavez, Hagler

Don't watch it much anymore but really should get back into it as used to love it

Personal Opinion. Me? Well I never really saw Ali fight so cant really comment on him,but my fav has to be The Dark Destroyer Nigel Benn.
Loved watching him fight in some titanic bouts.
Mike Tyson. Loved to watch. Great to see the way he demolished all comers pre Buster Douglas
But as I said this is just my preference

Jack Johnson was the boxer of all time. You're arguing about 2nd place.
