Thread title says it all. Looking at the Block we are on the halfway line and could have been worse.

Behind the goals sat next to John Terry's coke dealing dad for one.

I could have had 2 tickets, but they were in the Chelsea side on the half-way line so turned them down. My mum (who is a Chelsea fan), knows someone who works for the FA. She got me tickets in the Chelsea end when we lost 5-1 and I said I'd never do it again, especially as they're not cheap - £90!. She tried to get them in the Spurs side, but they were massively oversubscribed apparently, but plenty available on the Chelski side.

Just wouldn't be worth it, could you really enjoy the day? To me that would be the least enjoyable place to watch it, ironically. Much prefer to be surrounded by spurs fans, even if it is just at a pub.

Bought and paid for on my behalf through the wife's friend. I vowed I would never sit in the wrong end. Mid 90s at Anfield was the last time and it's a pretty joyless experience whatever the result.

2 Cup Final Tickets £150
2x Train journey from Manchester £140
Budget for all day drinks £??
Seeing crying Chelsea fans: Priceless

I experienced the same position in our LC final v cheatski. We were around 10 Malta Spurs and had to spend the entire 120 minutes as if we were tourists just watching a normal cup final. The only motions we did was to chuckle to each other when Berbatov and Woodgate scored the winner. At that moment cheatski supporters were leaving the stands and a big shout came out of our bellies at the final whistle. But agree with you, never again COYS.

Mate i did exactly the same when we lost 5-1... on half way line but in Chelsea side... it was awful. left after 4th goal but still heard the 5th go in! shocking.

Why don't the club hire a fuck off massive tv and stick it in the pitch facing the park lane and sell tickets. That would he a decent atmosphere for those that can't make it.

Might be a nightmare negotiating broadcast rights cost-wise. Probably not worth it for just that one day.

Surely if it was closed circuit and nobody else was viewing it other than the people in the ground it would be do-able? My memory might be going (and is) but hasn't this been done in the past?

Once upon a time they used to do just that. I remember watching Ginola score a "Ricky Villa" style wonder goal in the FA Cup away to Barnsley in the late 90's.

Sat in the Paxton Road end I think and saw it on the "Jumbotron". Only a fiver.

Mind you, that was back when the "Jumbotron" worked, rather than the pixellated mess it is now.

Maybe but that's a logistical headache too I'd imagine. I don't know. Not saying it's impossible though I personally find it hard to see how costs could be recovered. Plus I would imagine we would have considered something like that no?

Do any cinemas still show football? I guess they'd need a licence and it might not be worth the hassle if it kicked off.

@ILS I'm asking a question out of curiosity, what's so bad about that?
