Half time entertainment

Michael Mcintyre was by far the best half time entertainment we have seen. Apart from the fat people running from the half way line and swerving a couple of deck chairs before toe stubbing the ball into the goal to win a holiday.

He was supposed to say a few words and draw the winning ticket for the Opus but he kept grabbing the mic from the announcer guy on the pitch (name?).

I must admit i dont normally pay the slighest attention to the half time going ons but that guy was great! Every time Luka went near ball 2nd half he did it like a salmon!

I concur that it was the best half-time entertainment at the Lane I've ever seen - I was cracking up. I loved how the announcer was getting really pissed off everytime he grabbed the mic but was trying not to show it.

"Modric flew through the air like a salmon." was his best line - and interestingly he mentioned how when we were 3-nil up at half time we went on to lose 5-3 so if it's 0-0 at half time we should finish 0-0....good shout!

I never heard of him, but sounds like he entertained the crowd well. According to Wiki he revealed he was a Spurs fan on Radio 5 shortly before the Carling Cup final.

Gutted! he's one of my favourite comedians at the moment. I knew he was a spurs fan because he was on radio 5 live on the day of the carling cup final talking about spurs

The other one I liked was the bloke that was running up and down the pitch balancing a ball on his head, only for Defoe to smash the ball right past the end of his nose.
