Hamburg top of the Bundesliga,

Spurs bottom of the Premier.

Not exactly what we had in mind when Ramos was brought in to replace Jol.

Some thought Jol lacked tactical skills..... doing pretty well in Germany for a guy that doesn't know anything about tactics.

I'm not jumping on Ramos but the players better stand up for Ramos over the next three weeks.

Since the League Cup win they haven't.

The odds still have Spurs as the best of the rest... it's about time we got back to that position.

We the loyal Spurs fans deserve better.

Spurs to beat Hamburg in the UEFA Cup Final and in the Champions League next season.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing. Its stupid to make such comparisons, its like saying Jol is better then Ramos and he should get his job back.

Judge both managers at the end of the season on league position and trophies

The players (specifically jenas) has to stop talking and actually do something on the pitch. Every time jenas comes out to talk about how good the team is, we seem to lose. I want the players to mature and grow to become more kind of leaders on the pitch and take some responsibility. This is what we lack most. Teams like chelsea and manu have character and fight everywhere on the pitch. I prefer a modest kind of person like ramos

Not sure that I'm making a comparison aside from showing that Jol wasn't really the problem.

It's more of a comment on the players than the managers. Perhaps they're too quick to believe their own hype rather than going out onto the pitch and proving it with results.

Over the next few games we may see a different Spurs than we have seen for the last 15. Let's hope so.

Jol did a good job for us during his first 2+ years in the club. Then we faced problems and he wasn't able to turn the boat. And we changed the manager. End of story. Now Jol has a different kind of job in Hamburg and it's still to be seen how he manage it there. Like it's still to be seen how Ramos manage it for us.

A lot of players we have signed this summer have been because of Magic Juande. It's horrible seeing us at the bottom of the league but we won't be there for long

Good job is an understatement , as Hansen said Spurs were a joke before he arrived .

He turned around a couple of previous slides so the owners realised they really had to sabotage the ship if they were ever to claim the insurance money .

What an odd thing to say. Jol did a great job for us and then rightly or wrongly he was sacked and a new guy was bought in.

We won a cup in 6 months under Juande where we won none with Jol, Jol has started the season well with his new club and we've started poorly.

Lets wait at least until the end of the season before making comparisons

I'm not surprised to see them start well under MJ, we all know the sort of atmosphere he can bring to a club and I think that will have given them a boost.

Jol was a top bloke and a really good manager, but Ramos is a better one.

I was just continueing an analogy that someone else made .

To take it a bit further the insurers wouldn't have entertained a claim anyway .

Wasn't impressed by the way JR left Sevilla during the season but overall I'm quite happy with him .

Never thought the problems at the club were due to the manager anyway so changing the manager is unlikely to fix them .

Fair enough point, I've never heard anything about an insurance claim so it seemed like a really odd thing to say.
