Manchester United have ended their interest in Harry Kane after accepting a deal for the Tottenham striker is a non-starter this summer.

My analysis was only Utd, PSG and Real would potentially pay such a high transfer fee for an ageing player with a year left on his contract.

My prediction is, none will.

I don’t think leaving this year would work for anyone.

Even for Kane himself, being a free agent having only just turned 31 next year, puts him in an incredibly powerful position to decide his own future and get him the deal and club he wants.
