The Tottenham striker said after the game: “Yeah of course tough feeling right now coming in behind that second half performance and obviously pushing them right till the end. We felt we deserved a second goal but unfortunately the damage was done in the first half.
“I think in big games in key moments we have made too many mistakes and been punished for it and that was the case again today. I think that when we look back at the season we need to try and reduce those errors especially when you’re playing the best teams.
