If there was a conversation where any 'promises' were made I'm sure any businessman especially Levy would have added 'for the right price'

Hands up who has had enough of this bloody saga!! All we hear is " He said I could go" "Gentleman's Agreement" "I want to win trophies" etc etc.
All these "quotes" are given third hand or through the media. I want to hear Kane give a direct interview with whoever he wants, even his brother if he desires!! I just want to hear his side and views first hand.
For what it is worth, I am deeply saddened, like I guess the majority of fans, who had a real hero in our fold who we could be rightly be proud of as " one of our own". This is diminishing with every day the situation drags on with no DIRECT comment from the man himself. He has never been afraid of giving interviews up until now!!
That's it, my first post for many years on this great site.

That's just it - the media in all their wisdom are happy to parrot the so-called 'gentleman's agreement' line but seem to be left wanting when it comes to financials because none of them have the slightest clue as to what figure Levy would find acceptable even as a starting point for negotiations. The trouble with most media sources is that they provide the brush strokes but most are incapable of providing any detail to the picture. The telegraph article was quite long but didn't provide anything substantial - merely rehashing all that's gone before. It looked more like a favour to Kane and Man city than an article - certainly not objective.

"Spurs fans tell Harry Kane to stick to our deal(his contract) and give 100% to the club paying your wages"

It's all speculation and aimed at creating 'news'. Add that to so called 'insider' info (media directed) and you create this melting pot of bad vibes...
Which creates clicks and advertising revenue.

Noone has a clue whats going on apart from those directly involved.

And, further to add, the only deal that is factual and exists is the one both parties signed. The rest, in my uninformed opinion, is spurious conjecture
As an aside. At the very least, you'd think that Kane would be able to produce some evidence of the "permission" that the club granted him to return from holiday a week late. I can't imagine that something like that would be left as just a phone call with no subsequent confirmation. (#makingitallupastheygoalong)

My goals team is currently top of Division 4 vets league if Harry wants a trophy next kick off is 8.45 this evening.
I know strictly speaking he isn't old enough but I'm sure due to his mobility none of the opposition would question it... :sneaky:

Charlie is so dumb you could probably ring him up and claim to be City, then tell him to do a Webster and buy out his contract then watch as no team touches him (even my Vets team would have to pass as we don't want to lose our sponsorship at the green man ;) )
Then he could follow Bale's dream to become a Pro golfer.

Harry Kane, the legend.
Bottled it in UCL finals, Euro Finals, EPL race against leicester, FA cup and now his own transfer out of Spurs.

Manchester City’s bid understood to be £125m in total – but Daniel Levy is refusing to even discuss what would be a new British record deal. Harry Kane has thrown down the gauntlet to Daniel Levy to make good on an understanding that he could leave Tottenham Hotspur if the club failed to win a trophy or finished outside the top four last season.
And you still can, with our blessing, if anyone actually pays the going rate. How is it so hard to understand?

If there's anything which hurts and deeply insults us possibly more than anything, it's Kanes obvious determination to get away from us as quickly as he possibly can. He has no desire to play for us ever again. If he could get his move today, he'd be off up the motorway tonight.

Fuck. That.

The disrespect he has to the club and us fans by not putting in a transfer request. He is fleecing by wanting to leave us but still retain his loyalty and other bonuses. Should not be allowed to have it both ways

His assertion that fans should respect and understand his actions is exactly the same shite that Sol Campbell came out with when he fucked off to Highbury. If he could go to City for free he'd do exactly what Campbell did. Peas in a pod.

Up until now Harry Kane has been a marvellous servant of the club and I don't resent him doing what he thinks is best for himself.

If he stays for another season, fine. If he stays for the remainder of his career, great, he will be a Spurs legend forever! If he goes, well I hope Levy and Patrici do better with the £150 m that Levy will screw out of Citeh, than he did with the Gareth Bale money.

Fabio is identifying the targets though now, not Levy.

I wonder if a price gets agreed between MC and Spurs if Levy will say to Kane, deal is done all we need now is for you to put in a transfer request. This would stop the loyalty payment (I think) and get us an extra few million.. Plus Kane would get Levy'd.

Funny how everything Kane is moaning about is the result of unsubstantiated conversations. The 'gentleman's agreement' and the holiday extension and agreement over late return to training don't seem to have been witnessed by anybody else. It's almost as if he's talking out of his arse.
