When you listen to that comment can you not begin to understand what I was saying about not wanting Bale?

No, I can't, because I don't accept the premise that:

he's a fucking shirker when it comes to off the ball work.

I think that adding Bale to the side we have at the moment (probably at the expense of whomever of Lamela / Son / Chadli
was in the worst form) would catapult us to being favourites for this title race rather than a participant in it. I think Bale would fit in fine with our squad; I could see him playing the hard-working football that Pochettino demands; and I think his extra quality would take us up a level that we don't have in us at the moment. Know we probably just won't see eye-to-eye on this and I'm fine with that, had to have my little gentle prod at your ribs though (it would have been rude not to).
