Kane has told them he wants to be informed who comes in for him and that he is unhappy with the clubs direction and lack of ambition

he has not handed a transfer request and will not cause a fuss but things are simmering

this summer is massive for levy as next year Kane will only have two years left and then he holds the cards

Puts the pressure on levy to get the right manager and give that manager a good transfer budget.

No pal fuck any player that does not want to play for spurs including Harry kane.
Like I said how many semis and finals has he been in and can say it was just his team that let him down ?

He genuinely hasn't performed in any
Amazing player love him to bits but this I want to leave for honours stuff is bolloxs.

Maybe he would rather play with de bruyne than sissoko/winks in a final?

To say it’s his fault he hasn’t won trophies is daft mate

I really don’t think so, what skybet turnover is absolutely minuscule compared to the TV side of things.
People just love this whole sky sports news/skybet conspiracy.
Come on mate. It’s blatantly obvious this is for SkyBet revenue. With the relatively low max stakes, everyone at sky are ordering the Lambos in at the thought of Keith from Manchester sticking £10 on Kane to go to City at 3/1

Struggling to blame him to be honest and he deserves to competing for the top prizes out there. Think this summer maybe difficult but next summer, with 2 years left on his contract, can't see any other outcome than him going. If you are in Kane's shoes, do you really see anything changing under ENIC? I don't think so. As a club, it's all bit of a shambles, with no strategy or no people qualified to make footballing decisions to try and give us our own edge to compete with the financial top dogs. Can't keep on clinging onto what an achievement the stadium and training ground are.

From Levy's perspective, selling the teams star man is just another cyclical event and if he gets the money he wants, Kane goes and in his eyes we just go again waiting for the next one to show up.
Let’s judge Levy, we don’t know the ins and outs but let’s judge him. But hold on when last time Levy sold an important player to anybody in England. Oh yes you say Walker well Poch wanted him out asp. Let’s chill

Anyone who doesn't believe he has told the club or got his agent to put the word out are delusional.

Of course he has, everyone has suspected it. Disappointed his agent has gone to the media but let's be honest it's modern football for all we know there was a conversation last year and he gave us one last season.

I don't think Levy could have had a worse 3/4 weeks. Honestly don't think there is much more you can drive between him and the fans at the moment.

In regards to the poster which asked about the fantasy window, 100% I'd take that. It's over for Kane here, whether it is now, next season or after he is ready to leave. His heart won't truly be in it anymore.

And to be quite honest, I can't be arsed for a full year if Kane leaving stories or commentators talking about it every game. Let's get the best money we can from City and go again.

City don't want him. So there is nowhere for him to go

Sounds more than likely. Cheers for passing on.

Theres no point "going again" with Levy in charge. It will just end up the same way.

He needs to step down, take his shareholding and disappear.

Football is not the sport for him, fucking clueless.

So 1x season to forget Spurs exist before the real shit show comes.

If it is click bait, Kane's PR team would close it down but they won't because we all know its true.
No. Kane's PR team do not get involved in transfer rumours. They don't close things down.

As I said, click-bait.

This just seems like the most logical scenario. We have a year to turn it around, if not he's gone. Covid has conspired against Kane, he's never going to be sold when the market is down especially when he will retain value to next summer at the minimum and with a high chance that transfer fees could rise quickly again.

Ali Gold has rubbished it, no quotes from Kane to SSN.

Everyone back over to the next manager thread!

Of course the club (via AG) will deny this as it hurts both Kane’s value (or at least our negotiating position) while also damaging our brand to overseas fans and appeal to the top managerial target (whoever that is). But he wants out - and I really can’t blame him. That doesn’t mean I want him to go but I really struggle to believe that he wouldn’t jump at the chance to play for City in particular.

Still don't think Kane will go this summer. With 3 years left on his contract Levy would want stupid money - we're talking £150-200 million. I just can't see anyone paying that this summer. The only club that might pony up is United (City never spend this big and Chelsea...lol fuck off) but even they have just tied down Cavani.

I feel like this will be the summer when the first shots are fired and we start getting serious offers, but next summer, with 2 years left on his contact, will be when he's actually let go. It was exactly what happened with Bale and Modric: there was one summer of endless rumours and supposed bids before they actually left.

This is the foreplay. Next year is when we get fucked.

Let’s be honest, if this is true that he wants to leave, can we really blame him?

He’s the perfect player for city and would probably want to play for pep...

Hurts me to say it

let’s hope he stays for at least another year!
