Anyone know where this was said. I’m fairly sure it wasn’t in the Delaney one from this morning. Has this account just made this up?

It was in there

"A problem, unlike pretty much all previous big Spurs sales, is that it’s not like the buyers are behaving like David Gill with Carrick in 2006 and telling Kane “we’re not going to run away”. They’re perfectly prepared to walk away.

The current United don’t have the same need for a striker since Edison Cavani re-signed, and will prioritise other positions. Chelsea and City are both prioritising Erling Haaland. Kane is not first choice for either, because of his age, against that six-year contract."

The 1st and 2nd Spurs fans are different people. This is just a hypothetical example of different people having different opinions.
Are they? So you think those who are criticizing Kane are not crying out for a complete rebuild and saying we have too many players not good enough? Considering that accounts for a majority of posters I find that hard to believe.

Looking at it dispassionately, I would take Abraham, Pulisic (who I think is superb) + £100m.

Personally i wouldn't take the whole rotten toxic racist shitstain of a club, all the players including the 500 on loan, all the employees, all the kkk memorabilia in the club shop for even the wart off sissoko's cock.

they can burn.

It's a very common thing on this site.

"The same people saying this are the same people who say that."

It's always a baseless assumption.

Except pretty much everyone here is crying out for a rebuild and clearing players out and a lot of people are criticizing Kane for wanting similar ambition. So clearly it's not a baseless assumption.

But that's a different point.

Many want us to sell our unwanted players. Many then want us to reinvest big.

Very few, if any, are criticising Kane for wanting the same. No one is criticising him for being ambitious.

So it's just baseless.

Yeah was in the Delaney article. Seems logical given Kane’s age and ankle history. Don’t get me wrong, Kane is the best striker in the world, but from a transfer perspective Haaland seems the more logical target. He will be cheaper in 12 months time, but I imagine both Chelsea and City would be happy to spend the extra money to secure him now, than wait twelve months and have the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona able to compete for the lower price.

Set the price at £200m and give them until pre season starts to pay up(not when Euros end - pre season is when the manager will really start to put his plans in motion, we need this settled by then). If they don’t, he stays. This cant turn into a saga. The new manager needs to know. The squad needs to know. Kane needs to know. This cannot go on past the start of pre season.

That's not reality though. As long as the window is open, things can happen. Especially the more desperate people get the closer to the point of the window shutting.

Except he hasn't even said he wants to leave so what are they criticizing for if not for that? Kane is literally saying what most on here are saying that he wants us to invest and challenge for trophies.

No idea whether that’s true or not, but throughout this whole saga it’s Utd that worry me most.

Worked for Dortmund with Sancho last summer.
Because no one wanted him that bad. Sancho is still a kid with potential who wasn't pushing for a move. Harry Kane is a finished article world class star that's potentially available for the right price and clearly is looking for a move. Very different situations especially if Kane is told if the valuation is met he can go. Just like with Bale back in 2013.

People are thinking he wants to leave. His last few interviews aren't suggesting someone fully committed to the club.

No one is criticising him for showing ambition or wanting us to spend.

Cricky Barry. Harry not even one of your players of the year but Saint Maximin and Kalvin Philips are?

This guy was in the comments. Not 100% sure, but he sounds like a complete mouth breather if he's a spurs supporter - which I think it reads as he is, but he's referred to us as "Midtableham" ????

Hasn't he scored against all the top clubs and the likes of Barca and Real Madrid, not to mention won a golden boot at the world cup. Do you mean he didn't turn up for the CL final or Carabao Cup when he was clearly injured? I don't get why Kane is singled out when you have players like Son or Eriksen who have done no better and had no injuries. If anything Kane is over played and over relied on to produce a trophy for us. Bale didn't do it either but people don't even mention that and wouldn't consider not calling him a club legend.

Sorry, I was talking about Harry Kane in the Harry Kane thread and the assertion that he hasn't won any trophies here or turned up in our finals.

Take it with a grain of salt - I'm not ITK - but rumours are picking up currency that Sissoko's cock wart has submitted a transfer request.
