Ok the final and top accolade for him.
My mum who's eightysix says "and he's got a proper footballer's name too"
and she's right, he has:)

No one with any brain cells cares about who he supported as a kid

Not that it matters but from what I read he sais he wanted to wear the Spurs kit but that wouldn't have sent down to well at the time as he was playing for the Scum school boys or something. As said above look at his reacton after the game, hes like has the heart of Dawson in the body of a player who really could be the real deal.

From the very first moment I saw Harry Kane play I knew this guy had greatness written all over him - the way he moved, his first touch etc. It was so clear. In fact I was so convinced that back then I put a huge amount on him scoring 2 goals vs Arsenal in the 2014-15 season, one of them being match-winner with less than 5 minutes left of regular time. In fact not only that, I also...

Ok, ok... I was totally wrong - like the rest of you  Fact is, I thought Kane looked slow, cumbersome and awkward in his first games, and his relatively bad lone spells did not really help enhance his reputation. I know there were some fans who said he did have a Spurs future .... but that was as second choice striker...
I do not think there ever have been a Spurs player who has proven the Spurs fans so wrong. It is still early on, and the 2nd season is always the big test but I think Kane will just keep improving :p

He seemed to do a Messi the way he waited and then put it through the keepers legs, but I don't know if he meant it or not? :D

One thing I will say is that if we develop him right, merely from the clips I've seen of him (I didn't make any academy matches last season I'm afraid, despite my regularity in previous years) Harry Kane looks like he might have the magic combination of goals and hold up play if we develop him right. He's not just doing well because he's bigger than all the other kids, from what I've seen he's great on the ball, can dribble despite not having much pace and can see a pass, and he scores pretty much every time he plays.

21A Crystal Palace (18.)2:1CF1
22H Sunderland AFC (16.)2:1SS
23A West Brom (14.)0:3CF2
24H Arsenal FC (5.)2:1CF2
25A Liverpool FC (7.)3:2CF11

Above are Kane's goals and assists in his last 10 games. P10 G11 A3.

Just to put this into perspective, below are the most (and for Suarez & Ronaldo, I have included 2nd most) productive 10 games in the PL.

Suarez - P10 G16 A9 (2nd best was P10 G11 A4).
Cristiano Ronaldo - P10 G13 A3 (2nd best was P10 G10 A6).
Aguero - P10 G11 A4 Just 1 assist more!!!!
Diego Costa - P10 G11 A0 (same amount of goals but 3 assists less).
Sturridge - P10 G10 A7 (1 goal less).
Ade - P10 G8 A4. I only included Spurs stats for Ade, because I couldn't be bothered looking up his scum stats.

In the above goal scoring superstars only 2 players had 1 lot of 10 games, where they scored more. That is epic for a 21 y/o in his first full season.

Great stat on Sky Sports News just now, in 2015 Harry Kane has scored 8 PL goals, that is more than whole teams of Man Utd at 7 and Man City with 6.

:D

That touch was absolutely brilliant, through his leg. The finish wasn't exactly clinical but I just can't see him slowing down. He excites and inspires confidence in me when he's on the ball more than even bale in his last six months.

:D

Took his goal very well yesterday, liked how he sorted his feet out. I'm still expecting him to slow down, even got another assist.
I think even you IG couldn't have envisaged him scoring 5 goals and getting 3 assists v Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool whilst just 21 (just phenomenal).

BTW, fun fact, Kane is only 2 goals away from equaling Berbatov's highest scoring season for us and 3 goals away from equaling Bergkamp's highest scoring season in the PL.

Well Dimi, its about that time...
Indeed it is and I'm very happy to admit that I have been proven about as wrong about him as I could be!

Having said that, I'd rather be the dude that was wrong about Kane than the guy who obviously has too much time on his hands and went back 100+ pages ;)

Could you please make a post writing off our other youth prospects? It might not work but it's worth a try.

I can offer an opinion that Bentaleb is a little overrated and is neither a DM or an attacking midfielder whilst not being good enough for a box to box player? Or I could say that Mason reminds me of Townsend in central midfield?

The bad news for Alex Pritchard is I really like the look of him!

Somebody gave me a rating on that page, or around that page, so I just landed on that page and read your post coincidentally! I can't remember last week let alone discussions on here months ago!

But cool, nice you can admit you're a million miles away from being right :D
