Well, we are in a great position, ladies and gentlemen! I think Daniel Levy is happy right now. And Kane's camp is now realising that they have fooked up.
I don't know what it is but I changed my mind and now really want Kane out for 160 mil after all this shenanigans. He has massively damaged his reputation amongst the fans

I’m unsure what’s really new in that Sun report. We knew Kane wanted to leave and that the price Levy would consider was around 150 million. If Levy told Kane that just this Friday, then he told him nothing. I imagine the report is missing something, like maybe Levy told Kane City are nearing his valuation. That would be a development.

People who are slagging off the Sun and the Showbiz reporter, however, are being unfair. They don’t print things unless they are confident it is true. Being wrong ruins your credibility and reputation. Kane is probably closer to leaving Spurs but I wonder whether the important detail that really reveals that was missed or wasn’t confirmed sufficiently to report, but they knew what the outcome would be. So they went with it.

are you being serious? Papers have been known to change their headlines mid print run!

Charlie Kane is the prime example of why should never give family a job out of nepotism. He's clearly way out of his depth.

Say what you want about Levy, but he must be laughing like this at the thought of battling one of the finest agent minds of his generation, Charlie Kane:

Lol, that City response must sting for the Kane household. Them telling Kane and the press that they don't value him at 160M. Sucks for him now cause that's exactly what Charlie has now made the price at least

To be fair all these kind of briefs came from the club during the summer we lost Bale. There would be no upside in saying anything else given that we haven't yet completed any deals.

Still not sure he'll be staying but I think the biggest indication will be our spending (or lack thereof) rather than any media reports from now until the end of the window.

Hmm… an interesting theory ??

Sorry, I don't understand how this is a "masterclass".

The bidding club have said they won't get anywhere near the figure in the paper. Spurs have said the figure in the paper is too low.

Both publicly - so neither will back down. Absolutely guaranteed another year of Kane in my opinion.

Hence: Amateur Hour, if his actual goal was to get Harry a move.

I think it's spot on.

If this isn't all signed then they've fucked themselves.

Maybe Levy was happy to accept £140m and City were happy to pay that. Now Levy can't accept below £160m without a backlash. Kane's leak has set the bottom price (and even then, some of our fans are demanding it's too low and some of City's that it's way too high).

It's amateur and I think backs them into a corner where Harry's going to need to do something extreme to push it through.

This ^^^

If Kane does stay - id love it if he uses this transfer saga, and that Man City havent bid the valuation we set, to his and go on and get another golden boot and assists etc...

As for his brother - fucking Charlie the twat is fired.

So as I said last night, this is all just PR BS from HK’s side.

His brother can bitch / gossip to the media all he likes, it won’t change anything.

Lol at the daily fail article, apparently he told everyone at Charlie's wedding that he was moving for £160 million to City

It kind of reminds me of Alderweireld's Dad getting involved in his contract renewal, which led to his son losing out on millions when we withdrew the contract offer.

It was a joke. There’s nothing masterclassy in this.
