Just a thought. As only essential staff are required to come into work can we not put Kane on Furlough??

He can go into work, just chosing not too just now, so don't think we can do that. Just fine him for each day he isn't turning up.

To Aston Villa he's worth £100m (more IMO), its not always about stats when it comes to transfer fees.
Definitely, but is he worth that to City? You could argue that they have infinite money, but they seem reluctant to spend it, so why spend £100m on a good, but not great player in a position where they're already spoilt for choice?

The fact chelski are pumping more money into lukaku and no one is saying anything about that thinking it’s a good price for him, but when it comes to Kane it’s ‘that’s a great price, if not too much’ it’s actually embarrassing. 3 years left for a player we don’t want to sell whose much better than lukaku. Don’t know why city are playing hard ball

130m for lukaku and only 100m for Kane… do me a favour

The fact he hasn't even bothered to meet the new manager and DoF yet really is a childish move from him. Dug himself a massive hole which I don't see how it gets out of, managed to alienate the only fans that ever loved him.

this is the worse thing really, hes basically treating the club thats made him like shit! the same club that pays him 200k p/w. the same club that pretty much bows to his every need ( hiring jose, keeping jose) until it was no longer viable, yes he's being poorly advised, but he should be able to see what he's doing is ****ish! FRO harry, get gone you snake!

Last night I dreamt Harry was in Florida to deliberately catch Covid before his move to City, to infect half their squad so they have to play a weakened side against us opening day. His parting gift.

Chances are City have gone with Grealish, leaving Kane looking s bit silly. However, if City suddenly produce the 170ish bid and blow near 300mill on two players in one window then everyone else may give up. The game is rigged as it is, but will be beyond corrupt if City,Chelsea and their ilk continue to get away with financial doping.

If they do that then I think the PL will be in a very difficult position if they don’t want to push ahead with the sanctions against Man City. From a public point of view, with the case hanging over them, if the PL did nothing then it would look very bad for them. I suspect the other 19 clubs would be lobbying very hard for the PL to get on with things in that regard. Especially after the ESL debacle.

I haven't got a clue how many trophies Maldini won, nor Pele, Messi, Maradona, Ronaldinho, Zidane, Cruyff etc. Sure, they probably won quite a few between them, but they're remembered for being great players, they're not remembered in numbers of titles or cups.

Players have it drummed into them nowadays that unless they play for one of the richest clubs then they have no ambition. The agenda is narrow minded and fucking boring.

Kane stood in the ground on the last game of the season, clapping the fans with tears in his eyes, as if he was leaving something that meant something to him. Crocodile tears after all. He doesn't give a shit.

If I was City, I'd be asking if we could have a discount due to the player we're buying being a bonafide ****.

It’s a really good post this.

I’d really struggle to tell you how many trophies any of the big time players have won. Especially since rich men started purchasing success for their play teams.

What I do always remember though is Maldini, Giggs, Francesco Totti... players who could have moved many many times but they just understood what they had, they became the club they represented. They saw the satisfaction they took from their relationship with the fans.

Genuinely, Id say it about any player, winning trophies at a club like City is empty, hollow, meaningless, forgettable.

I find it staggering that fans can’t see this is the only way out with our chairman.

how many times does it come to this? We end up ‘hating’ the want-away player

this was predicted months ago… it’s how Levy always ends up ok.

if he had backed Poch we wouldn’t be in this situation where we are upset a world class player doesn’t want to play for a 3rd rate team

how in the fuck have you put this on levy? he has his faults, and im one of the first to dig him out, regardless if he should/shouldnt of backed poch, the way harry is acting has NOTHING/ZILCH/NADA absolutely nothing to do with levy ffs!

The only thing I’ll say is IFhe had bought better players instead of cheaper perhaps Kane would still be here. Although he’s had chances to win trophies with us and hasn’t contributed as a STAR player should.

If City were serious about Kane they’d have signed him before Grealish. I doubt they’re too bothered now.

Sol campbell was way before I began supporting Spurs, but the way Kane is going about this right now is what I imagine as similar to what fans must have felt back then. Betrayal, disappointment, and anger.
Wanting to move is all good and well, but forcing it through like this? And to a rival to boot? I personally think it's a bit disgusting.
It's the closest one to Campbell, but nowhere near as bad.

I wonder if Charlie Kane has been using Adie Ward as his agenting role model.
This is going exactly the same way as Raheem’s move from Liverpool to City. Total disrespect shown to Liverpool and their fans.

?‍♂️

Pep wants him and they can get him without too much of a fight so they did.

They're being arrogant when it comes to Kane, to the point where he's in desperation mode and acting out of character in an extreme way whilst they sit back and wait.

Levy must not give in.
