Just to show how much of a fucking prick and hypocrite Guardiola is, this is what he says about Silva and his own players that want to leave.

“He's our player. Not just Bernardo, there are two, three or four players that want to leave but they are our players under contract and when they bring some offer and their agents come here and they want to leave we are open to discuss absolutely everything but it depends on them," Guardiola said.Otherwise, they will continue training really well, they will stay here and I will decide if they stay or don't stay.”

So, it’s ok for him to talk about our player and say we have to come to the table to negotiate to sell a player we don’t want to leave, but when the shoe is on the other foot, it’s all up to him. He really is a spoilt little shit, isn’t he?
In the reports that I read yesterday, Guardiola had been extremely careful not to go beyond the strict legalities, which were consistent with your quotes above. Effectively, he'd said that HK was a superb player, and that City would, of course, be interested in buying him. However, as he was under contract to Spurs and Spurs would not negotiate, it was time to move on. Predictably, it seems as though today's newspapers have tarted up the stories for maximum impact. (I still think he's an arrogant shit though.)

I think some are missing the point here. He didn't ask for an extra week, he just told us he was taking it. When he was told no EVERYONE else would back on time he just took it anyway. Pre season is essential to get up to speed for the new season and more so when you have a new man in charge. It's incredibly selfish and unprofessional and an "I told them so it's fine" attitude just doesn't cut it.
So basically he’s got an ego and thinks he can do what the fuck he wants! Not the actions of a professional club captain!

Don’t forget, end of this season Haaland’s €75m release clause is activated. There’s a lot of young players who could rise in the coming 12 months like Watkins (Villa), Scarlett (Spurs) Abrahams (Chavscum) Saka (Arsescum), Hoppe (Schalke), Moukoko (Dortmund). At least half those lads could potentially be better than Kane, particularly Moukoko.

This was Kane’s chance to move off the back of a big scoring season and Euros. He just handled it badly and now it looks like the chance has gone. He might well have to stay with us for the next 2/3 years. He needs to knuckle down.

Listen, i am as angry as the next man but there is not a chance that atleast half those lads could be better than Kane.

If we were in the transfer market trying to sign Kane we'd all be saying it would be impossible to get a player of his quality at spurs. Suck it up that he wanted to leave due to our lack of ambition and shambles of a leadership over the last 3 years or so and hope we do better from here onwards

Maybe relevant for Kane and City. Villa actively tried to sell Grealish to other clubs rather than City for fear they are distorting the competitiveness of the PL. According to Ornstein they’re not alone in taking this perspective
I don’t believe that for a second. They were trying to maximise the value of the deal

I'm not angry at him and I've no real hatred.

I have lost respect though, he has painted himself as this model pro who stays away from controversy but I feel he has shown his true colours. Just another spoilt , selfish out of touch millionaire.

Good luck to him but I feel he has burned his bridges. He clearly isn't one of our own and clearly doesn't care about the fans.

I really dont blame him for wanting out. The decline since prime poch has been sad and whilst many are excited by this summer I'm going to wait ans see where we stand in September before being excited. Right now we don't look prepared at all.

I think levy should go for 100 million plus Laporte and Silva. They can afford .

He has essentially called out us - the supporters - I don’t know how he comes back from that. I’ve lost all respect for him, the only thing that makes me want him to stay is that there is no clear alternative out there. If we could guarantee right now we could sign a semi decent striker I’d happily drive him to the etihad so he can as some have eloquently put it - lose his virginity to a prostitute.

This. It’s so arrogant. Like apologising for having an affair by telling your partner “I’m sorry you’re so fat.”
It does make you wonder if he’s had his own way a little too often. Case in point the free kick situation. He’s scored ONE free kick in his time at Spurs. ONE. And that took a massive deflection. Yet he takes every single one. There’s also reports that he reported a few days late for training last preseason too.

There‘s lots of little things that we have all excused over the years because he’s so good, but looking back on them now sheds a different light on the “ultimate professiona.”

I said it before so apologies for repeating myself but the moment I saw he’d changed was when Mourinho kept saying how he’d turn him into a superstar. He absolutely lapped that up like a moron. Then while Mourinho destroyed our team in every way imaginable resolutely stuck by him. With Kane, it’s all about himself. Even his ridiculous ‘team talks’… everything. I remember Mourinho flamboyantly praising Ferguson after beating United and feeling sick with how obvious it was it was calculated like everything he does to draw attention to himself. Same thing just Harry’s not so bright so he and Charlie’s ‘calculations’ are more like crayon smeared on a blackboard.

Personally don't like the bloke now but will cheer when he scores. There have been plenty of Spurs players over the years I didn't like, so it's no problem for me. I will view Kane as a servant, play well score goals and fuck off. Rather he stays though, don't want to see City get the satisfaction.

Not just Harry but we’re all going to need to work out how to go forward. If he doesn’t go we can’t boo him

If this is the feeling among the other Premier League clubs then they need to speak up publicly about it and actually change the rules to try and stop City essentially turning the league into a monopoly. Trouble is, it’s a bit like fixing the door after the horse has bolted. Chelsea and City could have domestic football sewn up between them for decades if they run themselves well.

I like Villa

The players really need to grow some though, try and beat them, they are fucking cheats, end of. Don’t join them because it’s the easy option

But I thought Mr Transparency Purslow did everything he could to keep Grealish, and it was only because City met the release clause ?
