The thing I like most about Harry Kane is that he improves every time I see him.
First few U20 (as it was then) highlights and friendly appearances, showed he could read a game, showed good off the ball movement, but struggled to show much else.
Then he showed he had a fantastic powerful shot on him, then in the Uefa Cup qualifier against Hearts when he won a penalty that he did have a bit of pace, although he hid it well.
He's looking quicker (not lightening but no slouch), stronger, and now a terrific leap in the air. If he could add another half yard of pace I think he could turn into a really, really good player.
I'm more than happy for him to be third choice striker next season, getting more and more games and giving him a chance to prove he deserves to move up the pecking order. Spurs of old would have bought a couple of crap strikers to replace Defoe and only be a gnat's pubic hair better than Kane, its great that Kane is getting a chance, regardless of whether he makes it or not.
