I read a few games ago that Kane had the highest shot accuracy in the league (I'm not sure if it still is). So, if you have the best 'shooter' in the league, let him shoot.

What a phenomenal player he's becoming... Love that he plays for the shirt - great player and proud to have him at the club.

Best shooter should come down to conversion of chances. He's WAY behind the other strikers that make up the top 5 scorers this season. Needs like 25% more chances per goal. Or at least did when I checked a week or 2 ago.

Actually if he'd have been more greedy 1st half and shot early he may have scored rather than looking for a pass both times and the chances being lost

You would be hard pushed to find more of a team player up top on his own

People saying he's a greedy player are either on medication or don't understand Harry Kane's game

The opportunities he had yesterday where I was screaming for him to shoot, but because he knew he could potentially have a better pass on, he waited and waited until he lost his actual opportunity. If he shot earlier with his laces he would have probably scored but he half crossed-shot. That clearly shows he is not selfish in my eyes as he will look for the better opportunity if he believes there may be one, even if it was to the detriment to the team.

The goal he actually scored was his standard instinct. He didn't try to look up to see if there was a better passing opportunity, he turned a player and caught the keeper off guard with a quick shot, it's why he is so good. No way would I want him taking a touch there and looking around, keep doing what you're doing boy.

For the record, Neymar in La Liga who is a year older than Kane, surrounded by Messi and Suarez

13/14 pl 26 goals 9
14/15 pl 33 goals 22
16/15 pl 26 goals 21

13/14 pl 10 scored 3
14/15 pl 34 scored 21
5/16 pl 32 scored 22

Kane's definitely doing ok at the moment. He also has a better record than Benzema when he was in Ligue 1 and most of his seasons in la Liga. Will be exciting to see if Kane can maintain this and improve further

What I love about Kane is that he is the player that other teams fans just assume is gonna score for us. The reaction I hear when Kane scores is much like I felt when Shearer scored for Newcastle or Wright/Henry for the scum. We have a really special player and we need to make the most of it.

I love everything about him. In fact I wish he shot more often. Its been proven time and time again that no one is as capable as scoring as he is. I would rather he was taking the shot rather than anyone else.

Would you swap him for the others?

I will have to apologise to Harry when I see him. Thought he'd be a bit of a one season wonder.

He's the real deal.

I can't believe I'm writing this, but I think we could be looking at the best striker in World Football in a few years time.

Intelligent. Scores every kind of goal. Hold up play is superb. Movement is fantastic. He isn't blessed with electric pace, but he can beat a man, at times making it look easy. Works hard. Has exactly the right kind of attitude needed to go right to the top. He's worked to get to where he is now, the loan spells and starting off the bench, I think that will stand him in good stead.

I love you Harry.

Still cringe every time I see him interviewed. Tongues too big for me. My wife disagrees.

Guys does anyone think Kane will reach Modric/Bale level of talent and stardom?

Stardom, not sure. Strikers are very fashionable though and it depends whether he stays with us or if we can raise our profile significantly.

Talent - yeah, easily. He's pretty much doing it now. He's already as important to us as Bale and Modric were, albeit in a different position. His figures are great and he's got all round ability that makes him a top quality player. He's not going to be fat Ronaldo level, but he's on course to being Shearer/Sheringham level.

The guy you're replying to is a troll on here, so get ready for a controversial reply...

Don't be silly. The way some of you carry on you'd thing Sheringham was tapping up. He's been asked a question and he puts himself in Kane's boots because, as he admits, he doesn't know how Kane thinks. And they both know whatever Teddy says won't influence Harry either way. It's just press.

Sheringham was great for us first time around and his partnership with Klinsmann was among the all-time PL highlights. I understand you're under stress but it's disrespectful to both Teddy and Spurs to call him a c**t. I think you should apologise.
