I just hope a late bid doesn't come in for Kane.

Perhaps from a big French club that may very well be coming into a lot of money soon... :cautious:

Or do you think the huge sign-on and agent fee will be disproportionately high because of the "low" basic transfer fee?

They will definitely be massively overinflated.

Who do you think will be in for him? City, United, Madrid, PSG, possibly Chelsea and Bayern....

Raiola: "so Mr Chairman, as you know there are many interested clubs talking to us right now.... Why should my client sign for you?"

Completely agree with this and I think it underscores why we've taken the position we have with Kane this summer. Yes clubs will be chasing after Mbappe and Haaland ahead of him next summer, but not everybody will land one of those two. Most of the biggest, wealthiest clubs -- all those clubs you listed plus potentially Barca if they can sort their finances -- will be taking part in the striker sweepstakes a year from now. With only two of Mbappe and Haaland to go around, there's going to be interest in Kane next summer and we should be able to sell him for a hefty fee if we don't manage to convince him to stay.

I despise Dharmesh Shit - deserves a shit on his head

Kaveh whathisname actually spoke quite well on it I thought. Basically calling out the kanes for antagonising Levy and going about everything the wrong way to engineer a move.

Kaveh is the biggest twat going. Tried to through the racist card at HLTCO on Twitter cos he criticised him for spreading rubbish about Zaha last summer. Total prick

There was a good Fighting Cock pod earlier with Ramon Vega, talking primarily about Kane but some interesting stuff about Vega's playing career as well. Recorded and released before the Kane announcement (there's another episode recorded later about that as well)

Probably not Chelsea (just signed Lukaku), but the others will all be interested. Cavani, Benzema & Lewandowski are in the winters of their careers. City have released a world-class striker without replacing them (yet), and PSG are potentially about to sell Mbappe.

I think that's enough "super clubs" in the market for more than one striker to be signed for obscene money next summer ;)

Exactly what Simon Jordan said a few weeks back on Talk Sport!

Arrogant toss-pot. Seems to believe that he is 'unsackable'. Trust me, if City underachieve this year, he'll be shown the door. Albeit, Pep will likely try to get in front of it and resign, in order to save his 'flawless' reputation as being the best coach of all time. Absolutely despise the prick. And yes, he may very well be a good coach. But until he is successful with a team, that doesn't have the incredible advantages of Barca, Bayern and City, then we'll never know just how good he actually is. In the PL, I would rate Klopp, Tuchel and even the likes of Potter and Dyche as being right up there as some of the best. Yeah, I know the latter two haven't won anything. But you look at what they have achieved with 2% of what City has, and you have to admire them. I don't admire Pep at all. Until I see otherwise, he will always be known as the ultimate check-book manager. (1bn on players in five years at City... wow).
