The pressure on Levy from Conte and Kane is huge now, it’s time for Levy to properly step up.

I think he will need to make a choice Kane in terms of next season. I dont think he will sign a contract because i think he will give it a year with Conte... the thing is it depends on how much weight is CL football for him... also I simply cant see him going to Man City, Liverscum and Chelscum or Arsenal (if they get top four)... so I just dont see what options there are for him apart from staying and us really going for it next season... the fruit are showing now and with some money spent in the summer we can get three or four or five who can elevate us

I’ve just hit the ripe old age of 60 and I’ve had the absolute joy and pleasure of seeing some of the best the world has to give, not all playing in the lillywhite, but quite a few. Without a doubt he is up near the top and he’s rubbing shoulders with proper players, the sort you’d gladly pay to watch, which is what it’s all about. Enjoy it while it lasts……I for one am glad he’s one of our own, and he always will be……

I don’t disagree, the pressure on Levy is huge right now, he simply has to get it right this summer.

How many fans on here weren’t willing to forgive him for having his head turned last year?
Me but not for having his head turned, just the way he behaved about it all.
There's no denying that he's a great player but for me, he's still a little tarnished by the whole interview/turning up late debacle.

I was just thinking that Kane is almost like having David Beckham on the wing, Kevin De Bruyne at AM and Alan Shearer in the box.

It's reached a point that he is not even a 'jack of all trades' he was considered in his youth but now he is one of the finest footballers in the world in seemingly any offensive position.

In many ways his completeness has always made people underrate him as for a lot of his career you couldn't immediately see what he brings (apart from goals that is). He doesn't have the pace of Mbappe for example. The idea he was ever only a poacher, that was so pervasive before 2020, was always simplistic. But now he has reached a point where he isn't just an incredibly complete and effective player but a jaw droppingly brilliant one.

When all is said and done he will be regarded as one of the all time greats, and I love to watch people get all wound up over this realisation trying to deny something increasingly impossible to deny.

If Citeh land Haaland, then I don’t see another English team that provide that much better an option/fit than Spurs strengthened under Conte.

He’s not really Liverpool’s type of striker, United aren’t really a better option than us and I don’t see him signing for another London side, so if he wants to stay in England where does he go that’s a better option than us?

He’s not the brightest bloke and looking back was clearly being advised by a complete amateur, I don’t personally hold what he did in the summer against him.

Yeah, when it was the tactical nous of Charlie advising him, he was fucked from the start.

I'm like a parent really, I'm not angry, just disappointed. ?

I’m not one to get carried away but if Harry were to start his own religion and proclaim himself God, then I’d probably join up.

He played well today but I wouldn’t have given him motm because it was a normal performance from him. One he’s given numerous times. I thought others played well. Doherty, Romero and especially Hojbjerg who didn’t put a foot wrong all game.

People talking again like Kane can decide to leave when it was clear in the summer that its our decision to make. Whether he wants to go to Utd or not doesn't matter. He's not for sale anyway.

And on the flip side of this the club can't just decide to sell him when he's only got a year left on his contract so they can get some money for him. If Kane decides at that point that he's going to see out his contract and leave on a free there's nothing much that the club can do about it.

Just watching the third goal again (Son) and the pass from Kane to Dejan is amazing. It's like a golf chip that has the necessary spin to put it in exactly the right place for Kulusevski to run on to.

Agreed although as sublime as that was, and indeed the superlatives over Son's first touch, I also think Deki's touch on the run was perfect to run onto and be able to cross first time.

Just a great team goal from back to front.
