If Kane goes he’s basically signalling he doesn’t think we will win anything this season massive massive kick in the balls to the rest of the team. We know he isn’t leaving for a bumper pay packet. I can’t help feeling sorry for Kane this move will not fix many “neutral” fans thought of him.

personally as an English player you’d say the FA Cup is more prestigious than the Bundesliga title. As I’ve said CL winner or bust for Kane.
This is patently not correct

FA Cup over Bundesliga and a season in the CL, winner or not? Come off it

Oh I think he will, unless he goes to MLS in 3/4 years. He won’t end his career at Bayern - the 5 year contract is a no brainier to protect their investment after smashing their record transfer fee.

I can’t see Chelsea/Utd/City going for him though.

They won’t spend a sizeable fee on a 34+ year old.

My guess is the MLS as he loves the US.

Fuck what happened? I went shopping and the deal was on the brink of collapse and he was going to stay and just got home and we've basically sold him? Wow.
This happened to the deal

Just doing his job, annoying as it is, could just not read it, that's what I'm doing....
Watch the video of him pleading to Levy to sell the guy and tell me he's not an absolute bellend of the highest order.

Doing your job is one thing. Being a smug, entitled prick is another.

Disagree with the first bit, it'll give the team and extra kick, no doubt that is what Ange would twist it to.

At least we get to find who the trophy dodger is, Spurs or Harry

Very trivial I know, but Tomorrows squad number announcement could be a little bit interesting if we have heard nothing else in the meantime. Anyone know the rules on players changing numbers after the first game?

Kane staying for a season without extending is not a win.

History doesn't bode well for us to suggest we will win something

We will just be 100m short

There is no way Bayern have not been in contact with Kane and his team throughout this whole negotiation, making sure he was on board, before putting in the final bid. I'm afraid he's gone, lads.

Hold Tight

Bayern came in with their big swing and surrendered the terms this morning on the verbal. Harry is now deliberating with his family.

WLB X

Harry: Shall I stay or shall I go?
Charlie: I get 10% of the transfer fee right?
Harry: Yes
Charlie: How do you feel about everything?
Harry: I’m leaning towards staying, I love this club.
Charlie: What’s 10% of £100M?
Harry: £10M
Charlie: You need to do what’s right for you.
Harry: I think I want to stay. Are you even listening to me right now?
Charlie: *Googling ‘luxury yachts’* Yes bro, 2 sugars please.

So instead off selling your dead wood we sell our best player 2 days before 1st game of season ?

Lots of teams operating at losses yet can still spend big on players for example United. We are one of the wealthiest and profitable teams in Pl and Europe yet we sell our best players and buy cheap replacements and some fans are happy at accepting mediocrity?
Man utd and liverpool fans won't accept this so why should we ?

We’re not selling Kane because we need money. If that was the case then he would have been gone a long time ago. I think you know that already and are just projecting because you’re sad he’s leaving. That’s okay. I’m sad he’s leaving too.

So much for holding out for £100 m. Seems it’s 100m euros. So we could have accepted the bid a week ago.
Not if the payment terms and up front fee were very different - which we’re told they were. Without knowing those details (which are rarely disclosed publicly) we don’t know how much more favourable today’s offer is from last week. I’d hope it’s effectively an extra £15m-£20m guaranteed instead of as add-ons if Bayern win the World Club Cup or some nonsense, which will help us to close out any remaining business we want to do this summer.

I repeat though, that the timing of this is horrid.

If this could be confirmed last Friday everybody would have been more willing and accepting. It's the sudden agreement of news being broke out when majority of us was becoming confident he would stay just 1-2 hours earlier that made the whole saga exceptionally annoying and trolling.

I’m in Greece right now (bully for me) anyway a group of German lads are talking Tottenham and Kane not far from where I’m sat. Can’t understand anything else they’re saying but they seem animated.
I’m in Majorca right now (deffo bully for me, taking full advantage of all inclusive!) group of Scottish lads here with Celtic tops on, pretty much the same…can’t understand a thing they are saying, and they also seem animated 😁

Yeah where is the £86 million coming from? The one I seen said over €100million plus extras, but doesn't say what the amount is over 100 million.

Or are people taking over 100million as 100million?

The contrived, insincere upcoming 'I love you but i'm leaving' Instagram statement from Camp Kane is already making me feel sick and it's not even confirmed yet.

Think you miss the bit where it’s with his boyhood club of 20 years

People fair to think an FA cup with spurs specifically means more in this specific case with Harry Kane
