I don't know if you have been following the Mbappe and PSG saga this summer but it's very similar to Kane's situation. PSG are 100% sure that Mbappe has agreed a pre contract with Real in 2024 and want to sell him now, but he says I ain't going nowhere. Surley there is a chance that Kane has done the same with someone like Man United or Chelsea and Kane is just playing us right now?

I don’t see it. Mbappe has had a very on/off relationship with PSG, and is huge Madrid fan. Whereas this is Kanes club, and no matter where he feels we are in terms of competing, he loves the club and I’m not sure would do that.

I'm more and more confident that the press is a week or so behind as what's happening now is exactly what the ITKs were saying a week ago,. That probably means even if he makes a decision today, it's not getting announced for a while (and until we've got replacements sorted).
Zero chance he plays against Shakhtar if we had an agreement in place with Bayern.

Feels like it’s been leaked to put the pressure on Harry and make him seem like the bad guy. A kind of “put up or shut up” and force him to come out with it. 🤷‍♀️

He definitely doesn't "love" the club like people think he does, certainly nowhere near like we all do

It's different for pros

Kane has also been very much involved in pre season so far. A lot easier to keep him knowing his committed and ready from the start.

It wasn’t the case two weeks ago though… two weeks less to sort A LOT of things out. And as people have said, there’s a pregnant woman involved. They can change their minds at the drop of a hat and anyone with experience knows that you shut up and accommodate the person that’s about to push another human out of their body. It tops everything.
I mean if that really the case then fair play to Kane.

Just not sure I buy that a man of his insane ambition would alter arguably the biggest decision of his career for that reason.

Anyway we're talking as if he's definitely staying. Who the hell knows what will happen.

That's what I am trying to think. Sounds like is was pretty much agreed a few days back and its Kane who is dragging his feet. This has all come from Germany so could well be them pressuring him on an answer now its public

Still don't see how he doesn't go after all this.

It would however be glorious for the German tears

When you combine it with running down a contract and the possibilities next summer, for me it’s a no brainer. Go to the club you actually want to go to, get a huge signing on fee and win trophies. But that’s just me.

But then, why hasn't he called off the move then?

Just like Levy could have said, end of story, he's not for sale now it's too close to the season, Kane could have said at the beginning of the week, it's too late now, the deal is off?

Yep. And it’s leak from the BM end which hopefully doesn’t go down well with Team Kane

I mean I agree with that part wholeheartedly which I why at the start of the summer I thought we'd never get near to this point with Bayern in the first place.

But why court their interest and waste everyone's time if you'd prefer to run your contract down. He could've very easily politely declined their advances and just got on with it at Spurs.

What is a browser?

**sent by post**
My other half still has no idea what a web browser is, if I try and explain she dismisses it with "that's just Google'. Equally annoying is the fact that my eldest daughter still refers to the broadband connection as 'wi-fi' despite having to pay for it at her student house.

Been out all day and have just seen the Beeb, am I right in thinking:
1. Levy and BM have agreed a price and payment schedule
2. Kane is now having cold feet
3. Nobody has a scooby what he will do

I actually got a job when I discovered my new boss was a massive spurs fan and we talked spurs for most of my interview it was the start of the Poch era and I’m still here now!
That boss didn't introduce himself as Daniel, COYS by any chance? I see you Eric Dier. A Wall in defense thou art not.

So you're saying he's signed a gentleman's agreement for his onward move? Only gone and learned from the master, this lad.

Not to mention disrupt the start to the season for the club, for Ange, potentially causing stress to his wife and the rest of his family with them not knowing where they'll be living next month etc.
