So Pochettino, how about that Kane?
"We will have to wait for the scan. We are very optimistic"

So Pochettino, how about that Kane?
"The scan was today, so we can say anything for certain until tomorrow. We are optimistic"

So Pochettino, how about that Kane?
"Yes, Kane is out for this weekend vs. Swansea. We continue to monitor him and is going well. We are optimistic"

So Pochettino, how about that Kane?
"Yeah, Kane is good, we are very happy with him, he is taking it well and we are optimistic".

So Pochettino, how about that Kane?
"Yeah Kane, he suffered a bit five weeks ago vs. Bournemouth and has been out since, but we continue to monitor him and I think we are optimistic"

Yeah, this is exactly as it seems sometimes :D

I tore my ACL when playing at uni and walked 2 miles home afterwards. It was actually the next day I realised it was really bad and couldn’t walk on it at all.

Two weeks later a lad in our team did his ankle and had gas and air on the pitch. It turned out to be a bad sprain.

For this reason I never think you can read too much into immediate reactions, when adrenaline is flowing.

If he doesn't play again this season I just hope he misses the WC and gets the summer off.
Totally agree, really not an England ‘fan’ anymore, the FA remind me of the spammers, no confidence in them or that dick Southgate!!!! Just my opinion

JimmyG2 rule of thumb
or ankle in this case.

It will be twice as long as the first proper prediction.
In Harry's case deduct one week
because of his dedication and well hardness.

Funny things ankles.

The keeper did nothing wrong

He took Harry out. How can you say he did nothing wrong. If you do not get the ball and you take a player out it is a minimum yellow card. He went into Harry without any chance of getting the ball. Not sure where you get your rules of play from? It doesnt matter if the whistle has gone.

Agree.
If you deck the ref
after he has blown the final whistle
it cannot be used
as a mitigating circumstance.

Definitely not an England fan (not from England) but I wouldn't want Kane to miss out on his own ambitions for the World Cup.

The only international teams I support have Spurs players in them. Want all our boys to do well.

Spurs social media accounts have been going all out about how wonderful Son is over the last couple of days, it’s almost like they’re preparing us for something......

The way he lifted his foot up while on the ground was worrying but the way he walked off was a little more reassuring. I’m hoping this will be a short one and he’ll only miss a month or so. With the England break it means he may only miss one or two league matches though I’m gutted he can’t play in the cup. Worst case scenario is end of season obviously but I can’t see him missing the World Cup. It’s 3 months away. 4-6 weeks tops is my prediction based on nothing.

I'd love to see Eddie Howe get a crack at it. At least we might try to attack and be entertaining. And have a side picked on merit rather than reputation or historical favouritism.

The programme had a big article on Son too. Spooky :-/

Cue the sun printing middle page spreads of Kane, so we can all hold them to send H positive vibes... Didn't they do something like that before...

Beckham, Rooney and Ron Jeremy. The first 2 were feet related though.

Would be a choker if he missed anything more than a couple of games, being that he was on course to break all goal scorring records this season.
Fingers crossed it's not too bad & should we get there we have him back in time for the semi final.
I guess, unless we get a snipet or rumour on here, there's a good chance we won't hear any more until Poch's press conference on Friday.

It would be awful for any of our players to miss the world cup, particularly Harry.

Have you seen any of the England squads recently? Southgate has been giving lots of players a chance.
