Son certainly plays better without Kane in the side. Haven't we won all games without him??
We've won more but the sample size is too small to compare.

I know! And and @coopsieyid said, "He should be dropped!"
What is the world coming to? I need a lie-down.
But why would you drop Kane? ?
Nah mate. Lost 4-3 the other night. You should have watched it - wasn’t a bad game, really.Son certainly plays better without Kane in the side. Haven't we won all games without him??
Seriously.......
Harry's effect on Son is quite strange.
Don't underestimate Lucas Moura's importance in freeing up Son on Wednesday. Both Lucas and Son have quick feet but Lucas did his in a selfless manner by doing a lot of hard yards while Son could stay up and occupy attacking spaces. Plus Lucas was involved in the goal at WHL and the first two goals at the Etihad (and could have made a brilliant turn and through ball assist if Sonny could have got his touch right in the second half).
We haven't seen Son, Kane and Lucas start together enough but I feel next season that is the combination we need to use more.
I think half the problem is Kane dropping so deep. I just don’t know why at such a young age Kane is retreating into a withdrawn number 10 role.
In my opinion this has impacted the amount of chances he gets every game. Whilst he is excellent linking up and dropping deep, I think he’s better playing as the last man furthest forward and Son can then play off him. Kane simply isn’t as dangerous playing deeper and a few raking cross field passes doesn’t make up for it.
Poch really needs to sort out those tactics. We looked much better going forward two seasons ago when we had Kane playing the number 9 role and Son and Alli playing off him. Is it a coincidence these were also Alli, Kane and Son’s most productive goal scoring seasons individually and collectively?
I'm with you 100% but in my opinion this will only get worse
You're saying you'd perhaps consider playing another player instead of him, no? The definition of dropping, no?Once again you're saying I've suggested dropping Kane when I've done nothing of the sort.
I disagree we're more fluid without Kane. We won games in his absence, through grit and determination. Not flamboyance and free flowing football.
