The football we have played has been shite at times but he's gradually gotten better and better. That finish today was vintage Harry, the first touch and quick shot was one of those things we have been seeing over the years and is him at his best.

I thought today we regressed back to utter shite football again.

Good goal by Kane though.

We need to seriously improve next season if we want to match his ambition. Hopefully we can deliver a long awaited trophy as he fully deserves it

Can’t believe how few crosses we put into a box for one of the best strikers in the world, our full backs must be the worst in the league at crossing, even Son and Moura rarely run and put any in

Thats because we rarely get in behind opposing defences to get the ball pulled back into the danger area.

27 years old...time goes quick

If we aren't making progress that's probably gonna be his last birthday here.

The key to success for Jose is keeping Harry fit next season. Somehow he needs to convince Harry that he doesn't have to play every minute of every game and ensure that we have a decent replacement for when he is rested.

Sadly I'm inclined to agree although; riddle me this does any other football club usually at the pointy end of club competitions have as many "pundits" constantly sniping telling a clubs star players they should leave?

I'd love some examples of it happening to others.

As someone else pointed out it's not like we haven't been getting him into opportunities to win trophies in recent seasons, we've gotten to a CL final, probably should've made more of at least two PL seasons under Poch (one under Redknapp) been in league cup semi's and QF's similar with FA cup (should really have won the FA cup under Redknapp) League cup final under Redknapp.

It's a mentality and luck thing, you make your own luck and we rarely do.

Someone will have all the stats but we've had chances, I'd understand them saying it (sort of) if we never got the opportunity for our star players to win things but we have, from King, Berbatov, Modric, Bale, Kane amongst many players these wankers have tried to push out yet they all had a chance. Okay King and Berbatov less so the league (although when Berbatov was here we outscored the champions Man Utd, it was too many draws and defensively that let us down)

TBF there’s always rumors about Sterling to Madrid and even some whispers of KDB saying he deserves a champions league. The reality of the situation is that unless a player is at Madrid or Barca then there will always be that kind of talk.

But also I feel what you’re saying in a way. Kane has been continually supposedly worth being shipped out to the likes of United who until literally the last couple of months were beneath us for years as an appropriate destination.
