Liverpool sold Suarez and Coutinho and managed to improve.

I think we need to move him on and move to a fast and dynamic front 3. Similar to City, Liverpool, Barca etc.
And we sold Bale and replaced him mostly with dross and didn’t improve.

I’d love to know who these world class players are that will come in and replace Kane’s goals but are happy to not play in the CL and earn less here than they would for playing for another top 6 side.

Blows my mind that people would happily let go one of the best strikers in the world. And it’s nothing to do with injuries. The guy hits c.25 missing a third of the season, we’d be lucky to get a striker come in and get that throughout the year

I suspect it’s true he’s had enough. He hasn’t looked the same since coming back from injury. Either that’s causing him problems or he’s been told he can’t leave and is demotivated or he doesn’t want to get injured before the euros. His level has definitely dropped.

I would really like to see a heat map for him in this game, I've never seen him like this, I barely saw him contest for a 50/50 ball like he normally does and just genuinely looked like he couldn't care less for the first time. My best bet like what was said above is he is either scared of getting injured before euros or genuinely wants out. I love Harry, I want to keep him obviously just how long do you let this go on if it continues into next year before it truly becomes a detriment to the team. If he is 100% hell bent on leaving you have to let him go, our lockerroom is already toxic as is and I honestly fear that have a discontent Harry could only add to that. I don't envy being in Levy's shoes right now because if you keep him, it could turn sour really quick and if you sell him the fans will march to your house with pitchforks

I think he is off mate ask yourself why would he stay, unless names like potter get him all stiffy which is unlikely he will go.

He was poor and he did look sluggish but really dont blame him. He is a fan and he is fed up - he is fed up seeing that we are no longer competitve. He sees what we see, that there is a fair bit of work to compete again and thats going to take a while. Its demotivating...

You cant lead a poor team, he clearly wants to be a leader but its such a poor team that you cant lead it. Keane and even the likes of a Terry could lead because they had a good team around them who were motivated and wanted to be led.

Such a shame but i genuinely do not blame him if he has had enough.

The players around him arent near his level and until we fix that defence, nothing is going to change.

Id sell him abroad for £120m. Reinvest and improve the team.

Really terrible thing to say but he’s never going to be worth more and if we figure out what our ide tutu is with a DoF and new coach it’s be worth it to reshape the squad.

If we can get our shit together in terms of recruitment and playing style then there’s no point.

Do we need to sell him? No, he has three years left on his contract, so we can still sell for a good price next summer.

Something that I don't see brought up a lot is lessons that should be learnt from the Eriksen saga. Obviously Kane isn't the type of player to kick up a fuss. But at some point though he will hit his last straw and when he does I hope the club doesn't hold him back.

So this is where I start to lean towards letting him go as soon as we get an offer that is representable of his worth. Now this isn't because I want him to go. I definitely don't. He's the best player we have had in ages. What I do understand is the fee that we could command for him this summer could be enough to rebuild this squad properly not to mention if we get rid of some of the deadwood. I don't feel comfortable with Levy and Hitchen running the rebuild but if it is true we are looking at potential DoF's to come in it would be a lot more comfortable to fathom.

TL;DR If a huge fee gets offered for him I wonder whether accepting that amount and using it to put back into the squad would benefit the squad long term rather than letting him potentially running down his contract and getting less for him in a season or so.

my patience with him is wearing thing, his I’m to big for my boots approach where he demands every free kick etc, the club is bigger than him and will be here long after he’s gone.

Everytime he gets the chance to preform or win something with us he chokes his last 4/5 performances have been shambolic he hasn’t even bothered to run.

He may think he’s bigger than us but you know what don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Agree he’s not even the best attacker we have. I trust Bale 100% to make the right decision. To many lads wanting the golden boot instead of wanting whats best for the team.

Only team abroad who has money like that is PSG and I can't see him going there.

Again, hope he stays.
But if he desperately wants to go then Levy should squeeze every pound we can get out of the deal.
We`ll get by.
Its weird situation anyway. Hes one of the best and a huge world football profile. So clubs have to pay alot.
But nowadays very few clubs has that kind of money. And the few english clubs who has probably would invest that money in a player who is a few years younger.
Why should city spend 150 mill on Kane? Theyre going to win the league next year anyway and probably can get Haaland or Mbappe for 100.

I don't think anyone wants to sell our best player but he is desperate for success so when is that going to happen at spurs.
It's not an argumentive answer but one borne out of reality of our club is not in a position to offer what the big clubs can.

Imagine things are spinning in his head. Everyone that leaves Spurs goes on to win something. Heck even TRIPPIER that was called shit by many of our fans looks likely to win La Liga now!! The spell with Poch made us believe we were better than we are, the lack of investment in the squad during that period is evidence we will not invest in the squad to win anything.

can not blame Kane for leaving at all if it goes down that route.

I feel like I'm a broken record sometimes.

He will cost a minimum of £100m even in the current climate, but probably more than that. Who is paying that?
He has 3 years on his contract. He can't start forcing the issue for at least another year. Reading SC about him you'd think he was entering his final year.

If City lose against Chavs in the CL, I am afraid City will easily fork out for Kane.
