I personally don't see anyone stumping up the £150m+ this summer. For that money, you get into Mbappe/Haaland territory.

I mean does City really need him when they're most likely going to win the champions league without a recognised striker in their starting 11? Their remit has always been multiple signings of around £50-70m and it's worked very successfully thus far.

We’re sixth now. And I agree we have regressed the last couple of season. But you could also argue that we could be far higher up the table. Thrown alot of points away this season from winning positions (20 odd) playing football that never played to our strengths. Add a few signings in key positions and things could look rosy again.
He's 27. We've won literally nothing. He was never going to wait forever.

I mean anyone would do the same - he's been a legend and stayed when many would have left.

As someone else said - this is Bale all over again, he won't go anywhere cheap - but someone will find the cash for him.

He doesn't want fucking revenue, he doesn't want a recent history of finishing 4th, he doesn't want to win the fight for 6th against Lanzini from the Athletics Dome, he wants Premier League and Champions League trophies.

Not quite what I was saying to be fair. I was responding to someone saying we weren’t a top 6 club. Of course Kane wants that.

We came back stronger with zero silverware each time as well. I give up with this clubs recruitment and business mentality mate

I know mate, it's frustrating but what can you do? This is the least successful period in the clubs history in terms of silverware but the club will carry on.

What I want is what Leicester felt when they wont he league or last saturday FA Cup... I imagine Kane is sitting there watching the likes of Vardy winning the big two in England with Leicester, you got Tripps at Atletico about to win La Liga, you got Walker at Man Shitty with a tonne of cups and titles.... I bet he has spoken to Bale who has won four CLs and countless other cups etc.

Fine we are a top six club, my bad, but what exactly are we challenging for? Next season most likely we will be challenging for top four and then perhaps challenging for the title the following season but lots of uncertainties with that

Hardly a surprise really. Just hope if he does go and stays in England it is City.

Will be bad enough, but really don’t think I could stomach him playing for anyone else.

Trouble is, if we do sell him to City, we're pretty much giving away any chance of us winning a league title for the next 5-7 years until Kane retires and we undergo a complete rebuild.

I don’t blame Harry but the realisation that our star player, a Tottenham fan wants to leave his club in order to meet his trophy ambitions is absolutely sickening.
It takes a lot to remain cheerful about our club and where it’s at now in that context.

Still something that isn't really news to me. As soon as he said as long as we're going in the right direction and competing he'd be happy you knew that we couldn't afford to have a season like this one so I'd definitely be more surprised if he didn't feel this way. There is still the matter of a club stumping up the cash for him this summer. Like others have said, we have the power in negotiations really.

I know he's special but many clubs lose their best players, it's how we'd reinvest that's the issue for me. We'd have to sign multiple special players to compensate. I think similar to how Chelsea spent their money in the summer. Unfortunately (for them) 3 of those signings still have a lot to prove but 3 signings with the stature of say Werner, Ziyech and Havertz for instance might have fans optimistic again, despite the loss. Only annoying thing is, is that over the years these are the types of signings that we should have been making with Kane still here. A more ambitious club maybe would have surrounded Kane with more world class quality over the years.

Youre right my bad - my point didnt come across well - whilst we are a top six club we arent exactly challengers to much.

A club buying Kane aims to win leagues and champions Leagues but he is at a club that doesn't have that desire, so what do you do if you were him taking the emotional element out because it's a no brainer.

If Kane loves the club hopefully he will hold his hands up and admit his desire to move if possible but if it doesnt happen he'll give it his all for us on the pitch.

Definitely looked disinterested lately so no surprise, good player that he is if he does go I will console myself that he didn't get to break the record of the greatest of them all.
