it was only a matter of time I guess. If he ends up at Man City then, OK.

if he ends up at Man Utd I’ll be bloody fuming.

imperitave that the new manager, whoever it may be, is backed fully with some cash.

Hypothetically...would you lot accept the following with the news that Kane expressed his desire to leave? :

Out:
Kane - £150million

In:
Ings or Toney - £30million
Grealish - £80million
The rest of the remaining £40million on a quality centre back

What I want is what Leicester felt when they wont he league or last saturday FA Cup... I imagine Kane is sitting there watching the likes of Vardy winning the big two in England with Leicester, you got Tripps at Atletico about to win La Liga, you got Walker at Man Shitty with a tonne of cups and titles.... I bet he has spoken to Bale who has won four CLs and countless other cups etc.

Fine we are a top six club, my bad, but what exactly are we challenging for? Next season most likely we will be challenging for top four and then perhaps challenging for the title the following season but lots of uncertainties with that
WTF? We played in a cup final a few weeks ago...

the way it was worded sounds like it’s come from Kane’s agent
SSN saying the likes of Chelsea etc have been in contact with his representatives, CK66 (who also happens to be his brother). Nothing about his desire to leave. I’d be amazed if they hadn’t been in touch regardless of what he has or hasn’t said.

A prediction.
Kane will get sold. We won't get anyone near his quality to replace him. We will disappear into mediocrity. And yet still on the day Kane's transfer fee is announced there will be posts on here...well done Danny....haha PSG/City/Whoever FC "you've been Levy'd"....what a chairman...irreplaceable

I said when we sacked Jose that it was a stupid idea for the reason that it seriously calls into question the club’s amibitions.

I begrudgingly accept that perhaps Jose leaving was for the best, but it could have waited another few weeks.

We had at our disposal 21st century football’s specialist at winning cup finals. We sacked him 6 days before a cup final, and replaced him with a bloke who’d never managed a game before.

The outcome may well have been the same under Jose, we’ll never know.

But from a player’s point of view, sacking Mr Cup Finals a few days before one suggests that winning trophies is a secondary concern to our board.

Additionally, any manager looking at taking the job will surely think - well, if they can sack Jose Mourinho a few days before a cup final, why the hell would I be treated any better?

Harry said he would always stay as long as the club was progressing. It’s clear as day that it isn’t. But, worse than that, you can see why many players and managers may suspect that the board is actively working against the team’s success.

I know they are historically the biggest club in England but is Man Utd a step up from Tottenham right now?

Current squad wise they are on a par with us at best and if we had a half decent manager we'd easily finish above them in the league as we have done more recently than not.

He'll be guaranteed success at Man City and I think that's where he'll end up, if Levy agrees a price.

I personally would if we still had funds to use elsewhere, but I know a lot of people wouldn't.

I mean if he's that insistent on leaving then why wait 12 months and delay the inevitable? Sell why his values at the highest and reinvest it properly.

He absolutely positively should leave. If I were him, I would too. He deserves to win trophies. This club doesnt have the ambition to even be top 4 anymore. This clubs sole ambition at the moment is to milk everything for as much profit as humanly possible. Glory, shmory. ENIC dont give a flying fuck about it.

Wish you would leave.

I obviously adore Kane like every other Spurs fan. And I desperately want him to stay and would be heartbroken if he goes. But if his reasons for leaving are because he doesn’t believe he can win trophies with us then that’s poor from him. He’s had the chance to win trophies with us and he has failed to perform in the clutch moments just like many of his teammates. We’ve not scored a goal in the last four finals we’ve played. He was not a key contributor past the knockout stages in our Champions League run. Again, I love the man, I want him to play out the rest of his career with us, but I do feel he’s not been let down by his teammates all the time. He’s failed to show up in big moments himself. His career up until this point has been sheer, mind-boggling volume with very few truly important moments. Why I don’t agree with this “you deserve it Harry, go to City and win your trophies” attitude. He’s had chances to win them with us and didn’t deliver. Moving now is simply the easy way out.
