it is not going to happen - we will not invest in critical positions and we will be in exactly the same position this time next season wondering when the season will end ASAP

if it doesn’t happen, we’ll be in a lot worse position this time next season my friend.

If he wants to go I don't blame him.

He's a player who deserves to be playing at the top top level and we haven't been there for a while with the demise of Poch and whatever the fuck you call Jose's reign.

He's been nothing but superb and professional for us and I wouldn't begrudge him wanting to go at all.

Last time we had this situation we messed it up badly and used the money from Bale terribly.

We need to not do so again.

Even after the Bale sale we still messed up badly.

We messed up in having consecutive TWs without any incomings.

We messed up not getting proper early replacements for Dembele, Eriksen and Vertonghen.

Lloris has stated that he won’t be renewing his current contract which ends next summer. Not sure we’re getting his replacement early.

I’m not very confident that we won’t mess up again if Kane leaves this summer

It should just be...

Sign Grealish. That's it, thats how you get Kane back on side.
LOL. Might have worked 4 years ago. But the idea that Kane now will turn down a move to one of the best teams in the world, which can realistically average better than a trophy a year, to play with Jack Grealish in at best the Europa League is just fantasy.

Timing of this is really interesting, a few days before fans are allowed back in the stadium, surely that's gonna be the talk on everyone's lips on Wednesday.

The chance of Harry being allowed to sign for Chelsea is just ridiculous. It doesn’t happen. Ask Modric.
3 years left on his contract . Will have to be well over 120m for Levyto consider it.
At the end of the day it will be Levy’s decision .
The type of person that Kane is ,,,if he doesn’t go he will still do his best next season.
Levy wouldn't sell to Chelsea...not a chance.
He would be run out of Tottenham and he knows it.
Wednesday could be Harry's last ever home, will be interesting to see his interaction with the fans in the stadium at the final whistle.
Could be a clue

Hypothetically...would you lot accept the following with the news that Kane expressed his desire to leave? :

Out:
Kane - £150million

In:
Ings or Toney - £30million
Grealish - £80million
The rest of the remaining £40million on a quality centre back

No. Will take several players to replace Kane - not 3, with one of those 3 being an injury prone downgrade.

If he goes to Chelsea, are there any good lawyers on here that could get me off with Manslaughter of a bald little **** face?

Not sure how it’d be solely Levy’s fault if he went to Chelsea. Personally if he decided to go to a local rival, he’d be on the same level as Campbell to me.

I don't want him to leave but end of the day its football, it is what it is. I'm actually past caring and it's funny because I was gutted when Bale left but for some reason I just don't have same emotion for Kane even though he is one of our own.

I think the whole club needs a complete rebuild from Sporting Director downwards and if this happens, I don't think it will be as bad as what some people believe.

This is horseshit from Sky putting this out as just clear shit stirring to get a narrative ahead of the all English CL final and Euros this summer about the England captain. I don’t doubt he wants to leave but this is not new info nor is it a scoop, it’s just an agenda being pushed.

What other country’s largest news outlet would plant transfer rumors about their star player and captain going into a tournament?

Fuck Sky, City, the FA, the PL, and of course Levy for letting it get to this point.

Well the bid would have to be accepted first by Levy.

Let’s not forget this is the same sky that said Everton rejected an €100m bid for Richarlison and both clubs don’t have a clue where that came from

Sky doing their usual and unsettling players to fit their agenda. Loads of people lined up to give their totally uninformed two pence worth. Fuck off Sky

I don’t blame Harry but the realisation that our star player, a Tottenham fan wants to leave his club in order to meet his trophy ambitions is absolutely sickening.
It takes a lot to remain cheerful about our club and where it’s at now in that context.
It is sickening, would be my lowest moment as a Spurs fan if he went.

The problem is that the mistake has already been made. We had one of the best, if not the best, striker in the world for 4-5 years and haven’t capitalised on it. We haven’t been aggressive enough.

If he wants to leave we can’t begrudge him - he needs to win something in his career and fair play to him- he deserves it. It’s a lot to ask from him to start again with another rebuilding project when he could probably have his pick of the top clubs.
