Got the fans in at the lane tonight. Watch his body language at the end of the game. If he is looking wistfully around the stadium, he is gone this summer.

He isn't going anywhere unless we receive the right bid. I hope he gets MOTM tonight and then they ask him straight up in the interview. See what answers he gives

He's been called out on fact that he calls things on social media that other journalists break. His MO is so obvious, he follows a load of good journalists including local ones who will regularly get stories because of their closeness to the club, he then sees that journo state something and he is straight on to his account repeating it without any reference to the original journo who broke the story.

Not one journalist, not one, is across all stories across multiple countries it's just impossible so anyone who markets themselves as such is not to be believed
He's from the DiMarzio school of journalism. Tried and true method of creating the illusion that you're "in the know" when you're not. How many times did he say the Sancho to United deal was "imminent" last year?

Intentionally vague so he can avoid criticism when he's wrong.

Trouble is, I love Harry Kane, but if he wants to move on to try and win trophies, it wouldn’t bother me, he won’t win anything at Tottenham while Lewis and Levy run things, so he will have to move on. We may have the best ground in Europe, but I would still prefer WHL and a team that could challenge for trophies rather than a brilliant looking stadium and a team that are incapable of winning anything..

The game is about glory. It is glorious that he scoring so many in a second rate team.
There is no glory in winning the league at man c. They are expected to win the league because of all the financial doping.
Their fans might jump about and sing out Monsour's name, but they have paid a very high price - their soul.

Do you think players or managers give two shits about how they win trophies? As long as they have the medals and the money they couldn't care less if the clubs got success with financial doping.

Kane wont lose any sleep or think about the glory of the game jumping ship to man city if they put in the right offer.

I think that those players and mangers will exist but are probably in a minority. Players and managers are human and not every single human has the same priorities in life.

Sing his name. Sing it loud. For the whole game.

“How could he leave all this?”
“He can’t”

No, wait a minute, how did that turn out?

If City don't buy Haaland this summer, the chance is gone in my opinion. One of Real or Barca will move heaven and earth to do it next summer when his release clause comes into effect. And then it will be too tricky to get it done. If City are going to spend the sort of money it would take to buy Kane, it would make much more sense to spend the same money to tie up Haaland for the foreseeable. It's not even a question. Both push them that bit further, but one has 10+ years ahead of him.
I appreciate what you are saying, and the prevailing sentiment is that Haaland is the best long-term striker investment in Europe right now, due to his age and obvious talent.

I just think that if you take money off the table - if you don't have to worry about the investment but rather the immediate impact - then Kane is much the better option for City because he is absolutely guaranteed to deliver from day 1.

Haaland has had a very impressive season, no question. 25 goals from 25 matches in the Bundesliga. But Timo Werner had a very similar 28 from 33 the previous season and he hasn't exactly taken the Premier League by storm.

Haaland would represent a risk that Kane simply doesn't. City with Kane means they are pretty much guaranteed to dominate for the next couple of years. If money is not factor, which it doesn't need to be for City, then Kane is the better choice for immediate success.

I genuinely don't think Haaland represents anything like the risk Werner was, and is as much of a guarantee as anyone can be.

The only risk for haaland is his agent and his dad seem to have a big say in his career. I think the guy wants to play for madrid, so if he went city how long would he give them. Kane will be there for the rest of his prime and he is proven he can handle the league. Both will cost 100m plus this summer.

Any club who seriously want haaland will need to try get him this season because when his release clause activates next season, he will become affordable to all the top clubs and then is up to the lad where he chooses.

I would certainly choose Haaland over Werner as well. But if I was to bet who, out of the three, would get the most goals next season, spearheading this Man City team, it would be Kane all day long.

But...but hang on a second....... I thought Neville and Sky were the savours of the beautiful game and single-handedly kept it out of the hands of those nasty big six and the European Super League; the same six they have spent the past twenty years fawning over to keep the viewing figures high (less so Man City and Chelsea who weren't relevant at that time). :sneaky:
