Ben saying Kane felt humbled after his reception today...Gareth apparently said to Kane how could he leave Spurs after that...Kane replied 'I can'

Maybe he's pissed off about the way the news has come out, rather that what the news is?
There are ways to do things and as Danny Rose proved, running off the the tabloid media isn't the way. Especially Sky fucking Sports!

No sign of any embarrassment or contrition...wow

In 2013 Bale was by a mile the best player in the league and won games on his own every other week. Kane has been putting in 4/10 performances since Christmas, and is one (of many) reasons we’ve fallen apart and missed top 4. He’s every bit as bad as the rest of this sorry squad

Gone.

Most clubs could only dream of having a homegrown world-class striker coming through the academy, and we've failed him.

It's absolutely sickening.

Can’t be fucked reading the predictable “Kane deserves better after that shit” when he was just as bad as anyone else on the pitch.

Yeah I won’t go down the deserve road, but it’s abundantly clear ( as if it wasn’t already) that he’s simply too good for us right now.

What a sad way to bow out. Club legend though and the best striker most of us are likely to see at spurs I our lifetime

Watching that lap of honour its the first time I think maybe he genuinely does know he's off.

Fucking hell, man. This club. Fuck Daniel Levy.

Even if he can keep Kane, Son and Lloris, Baldy must be ready to spend something like 200 million pounds over the next 2 years to make us competitive again.

Selling Kane isn't the end of the world. If we use the money wisely we can move on.. It'll be a massive blow but even with Kane we are not hitting the mark.

Tottenham are so predictably poor. Arsenal will finish above us on the last game of the season

Penny wise pound foolish.
