Even though Italy have been the best team in the tournament and don’t ship many goals you just know Harry Kane will score a couple and win the Golden Boot outright. Because that is what Harry Kane does.

Good performance from Kane- amazing composure throughout.

However, I'm making this post to say that Sterling was England's best player tonight imo (despite doing some annoying shit at times, especially in the first half).

Absolutely. Harry was great last night. But Sterling just edged him. Was dangerous almost every time he got the ball. Scared the Denmark defence silly.

Pleased for Sterling that he has returned spectacularly to form during this tournament (and hats off to Southgate for showing so much faith in him). He had to put up with so much vile shit from the media (and therefore the more brainless England fans) and made them look foolish by handling it all with dignity.

He deserves credit for following the ball in after the save. Some players would be devastated about missing and just forget to go after the spill from the keeper. He has that instinct to always follow it in.

Really hope he flies past Chiellini and bangs one in after the comments he made following our games with Juve. How nice would that be?

Also, IF it happens. Spurs will have had the last two tournament winning captains and they are our captain and vice captain. Insane.

A phenomenal performance from Harry last night. He truly is a world class player.

He was immense last night, shame about the pen miss but he deserved his goal. Rare you get to see him pull the strings for England like he does for us.

It’s such a lazy figure the press keep regurgitating. He’s worth more than that, everyone knows it.

Since we don't want to sell, he's worth what we think he's worth. Absolutely no chance Levy lets him go this window for under 150m

Just can’t agree. Until England were winning Sterling was good, but all heads down and no product, while everything good England did went through Harry. No Harry on the pitch and I don’t think England, for all the control they had, gets behind the Danish defence.

Once we were ahead and there was space, Sterling was brilliant. Before that he was very good until but not including he got into a dangerous area in my opinion.

That said, with Phillips and Rice seemingly refusing to inject any pace or progression into our play when they had the ball, Sterling’s job was made much harder.

Tonight was Kane in spurs mode. Playing deep, linking up play and still looking an attacking threat

Seems like the group stage was his normal August for us
Almost a shame to let him have a break, get him straight back in to training after Sunday to keep his form going.

"COVID Climate price" and even then he is worth 150m at the bottom.

I've been saying this to my mates for a while now on this "COVID market value" it's not the selling club's problem if a proposed buyer has had their revenues hit (not that it matters to City). The seller is under no pressure nor obligation to open their legs and sell for a discounted price just cause the other team is skint. Something we too will no doubt learn as the buying club this summer ?

I would be interested to see if winning the Euros affects Harry’s apparent desire to leave.

Can fully understand him wanting to “win things” but in reality, he can’t win anything bigger than Euro2020 with Manchester City…
