Unless of course he lied to where he was going and got the wrong info based off that but I highly doubt that.

Almost completely convinced he goes to digs owned by ENIC or Tavistock when he does, so unlikely that it'd be undisclosed

I find it incredible just how badly Kane has been advised throughout this.

I remember being very surprised that he signed a 6 year contract, why do that? Pochettino had only just signed for 5 more years. At that point Harry held all the cards, he should have signed for a maximum of 5 years and/or agreed a release clause.

And to now play the striking card before any reasonable bid has even been tabled is just beyond stupidity. I mean exactly what did he expect would happen here. Kane and Unable were the ones who put the £160 million figure out there in the first place with their post wedding Sun article, and City haven't even come close to talking that figure.

Have the club pampered him so much over the years that he thinks he can just call the shots and we'll roll over? From the original contract, the Neville interview, the Sun article and now this petulant and completely pointless strike, he has literally taken the stupidest option at every juncture throughout this whole saga.

I get that this is a frustrating situation for him, but he may have to start coming to terms with the fact that City just may not want him that much.

He has a fake oil spill on his desk. I'm dying ?

And he has pictures of every one of his clients on the wall behind him ?
Imagine riding your brother's coat tails and piggybacking on his success your entire life.

From the Romero thread. Never thought it would be relevant here:

Don't kid yourself, if City were I for him he would likely go there. Its just the nature of the beast, most top players want the top clubs. Kane is jusy another who became world class and wants to move on. The same would happen with the likes of Romero later down the road if he turns world class and we still dont win anything. The cycle will always continue until we start to win titles and even then we may still lose players.

It's only the approach Kane is taking I take exception too, not his reasons to want to leave.

Dragon:

he has been fined he wants to leave we say he is staying

city saying will not go over 100 due to age and ankles
He's really done a number on himself here, hasn't he?
Did he really think that Levy would let him go for 100m? If so, he really is daft.
He's the best striker out there and has 3 years left on his contract ffs. No way he's worth that little.

Why do I feel like in six months time we will be reading articles about a family dispute and bad feeling between Harry and his brother ?

How is it possible that City ever thought they could get him for £100 million?! Did the Kanes suggest that would be enough?
Which would explain why they were pissed off when a drunken Charlie started blabbing about 160m at his wedding.

Hahaha, then he stays then. He best knuckle down.
Exactly. I remember in that Neville interview Kane mentioned a 100m. He obviously thinks that what he is worth and city have offered that. Ultimately, it isn't what Spurs value him at so he has to get on with it.
