£120/130m plus Laporte. Otherwise £160m+ or nothing.
Would laporte really ever come to us?

I think kane has done this so we accept or have a serious look at city's revised bid. Both city and spurs will need to bend to some degree and Kane is trying to get levy to bend when the revised bid comes in.

I think doing this for the immediate reaction isn't the reason, it's to get the parties closer together knowing the exit is inevitable.

High risk but to play it he must know city have more to offer.

Either way, it'll be fascinating to watch a game of chess to be played. If he goes I won't mind to be honest after whats gone on, just another traitor to look down on and boo.

What a legacy.

Nah don't think he would but he's the only player I'd take who they would reportedly include. Not keen on spending massive wages on Jesus or Sterling.

130m is the figure City itk have been saying. I can't see us accepting that but maybe 130m + bonuses. Add 10m per major trophy they win with him.

£130m plus Grealish
Done ✅

Really though we need at least £130m plus someone for one of the key first XI weaknesses, CB, CM (RB seemingly sorted?!)

I think if the Romano/McGrath twitch later say the same thing it will be very interesting indeed.

I’d take Silva off their hands, not sure what his wages are like at City but if they pick up Grealish and Kane, Silva’s minutes on the pitch will drop further.

When I heard old Joe was angry I had visions of him on the phone to Levy "Hang him on meat hook"

Bernardo, Mahrez and Laporte are the three players I'd like us to pursue if part-exchange comes up. It seems we avoided it previously but things have likely changed since.

I don't expect any of them to want the move but I'd hope we'd give Fabio the opportunity to at least speak to them.

I like Silva but in general I'm inclined to think we need to make it a tough as possible for City. Letting them include a player makes it much easier for them so we should only do it if we really need that player. With Lo Celso being a similar profile I don't think we need Solva too much, whereas Laporte would be literally the perfect LCB to play alongside Romero.

Sad that it's come to this but after a short while of seriously considering him leaving, I think I just want him sold to be honest.

Not at a low fee or for players, I hope we rinse City. Only a few weeks ago, I was hoping that Nuno or Paratici could twist his arm.

The interview on its own, whilst ill-judged and ill-timed, didn't really turn me against him in anyway as I felt he was partly doing it to shake Levy, plus we were all furious with Levy anyway. But the interview together with his behaviour over the last few days, plus the petty Instagram posts - I'll explain why shortly - have all added to a feeling of numbness towards him.

Instagram posts - I've always felt that football club's social media is not just a representation of the club but the fans as they share the joy of news or such, for Kane to ignore the club's Happy birthday message is a way of him shunning the fans IMO. The message isn't coming from Levy, who let's face it is who Kane has a gripe with, it's a representation from the staff, players and fans - the family, so to speak. For him to ignore that is appalling. even if someone else is in control of his social media, although that's unlikely considering the pettiness behind it.

Just say 'thank you', at least we know you are still Spurs even if you want to leave. I'm stunned by his behaviour in this. You think you know someone (obviously I don't, but you get my drift).

Yeah letting a £100m+ asset rot and devalue rather than cashing in and reinvesting in the squad would be a brilliant move wouldn’t it.

Because saying “I told you so” to a player who no longer wants to be here is so much more than the club’s ongoing and future success.

Idiotic and childish thing to say.
