The article literally states that it's a 5 day quarantine from both
Isnt it right that if you're double jabbed, you can come back from Amber, no quarantine you just do a PCR test within three days before returning and two days after you're back?

He's clearly trying to force our hand.

Levy and co need to be very brave and bold here.

Looking at Villa, they are doing the correct thing by making their squad stronger and better shape all-round. We need to do the same. However, we can't just sell Kane for the price City want him for nor should we.

Now, the question is, do we just press on and improve our squad in every department, regardless of his sale? Or are we in a position in which we need to sell him to maximise it?

I hope we can bring in a CF, 2 x CBs, RB and CM without having to sell him. If we do indeed then sell him, I'd like to see us go out and bring in a genuine top attacker/creative midfielder.

Has he really fucking stayed in Florida an extra dya to ensure his quarantine is timed to overlap with the City game?

Tell me that's fake news. He can't be that toxic. He can't be that dumb. That's the most overkill example of hyperbolic spite I can remember in a long long time.

With everything else going on so positive at the club, if I was Daniel Levy I'd be considering the negative fall out all this could have if a sulking and frustrated Harry Kane returned to the dressing room. It's the last thing Nuno or incoming new players need and I would be very inclined to bite the bullet and let the lad go to City for £130m without him ever needing to set foot back in the Tottenham ground.

Maybe we could hold out for more (another £20m) but at what expense to the team and overall morale ?. Let Pep have him and tell Harry to send a taxi round to collect his things at the rear entrance. Take the hit and move on. Fabio will use the money in a way nobody else could and recoup the loss by getting us great deals on a couple of replacement strikers.

Trying to integrate an unhappy and want away Harry Kane is the last thing Nuno, Fabio or the club needs at this stage of developments. Keep things positive.
Just my thoughts on the matter
Unfortunately, according to Sky Sports News (so big pinch of salt), City’s offer for Kane to date had been £70m plus players the club think won’t get into our first team.

I just want him to fuck off at this stage. Whether that is to Petrol City or somewhere on a gardening leave. Can't stand the thought anymore of seeing him in our shirt. The club in my eyes is more than the footballing ability of one player. It's also about character, passion, giving back to the community etc. He doesn't reflect the values I admire in a Spurs player.

No, I don't want his behaviour to be rewarded in any way.

If he leaves this will be all brushed under the carpet, as it will all be "justified" by Sky etc as all part of their vapid "winning" (buying) of trophies. Oh he's a winner! He did whatever it took.

If it all falls through he will look like an idiot and his "model professional" image will be forever tainted, no matter what he goes on to win.

After he eventually leaves however, we'll have plenty of opportunity to show him the same level of respect he has shown us.

We're a big club now, and we simply can't allow ourselves to be publicly pushed around by City and Kane, or the media and Oil clubs will be relentless in unsettling us every time we have a good player.

Besides that and most importantly it will be better for the team with all this transition if he stays 1 more year.

I'm furious today, but like Modric the anger will calm down by September - and the team will do fine.

I totally understand those who think and feel differently, but personally I know that in a few weeks I'll be able to detach Kane the Tottenham icon from Kane the useful employee.

No need to boo him now - it will just hurt the team - instead we can just show our love and support to Son and all the lads who deserve it.

I am disgusted by all of this. Modern day football-you don’t earn anything, you buy it. Makes me sick.

just so disrespectful to the club and mainly, nuno and his coaching staff

Wonder if he would have tried this crap if Mourinho was still in charge!?

Know damn well had Conte become our manager he would have flown to Florida himself and dragged him by his ears onto the plane. ?

This is precisely what him and Man City want. You bend over now, you do it every time a richer club want our players but don't fancy paying the market value.

I don't mind him going but £130m would be a joke. We'd have been done up like a kipper. I think dropping the price to £160m, or £120m plus Laporte if he would come, would be a compromise on our part.

I actually don't believe City have any intention of pursuing this deal further though. They obviously decided they'd spend around 100m on either him or Grealish and they've gone with Grealish because he's actually available for that price. Kane is kicking up this pathetic stink because he wanted to be the one going there and not Jack, but tough shit. Really can't see them signing both.
